Should I be worried about this pain after laparoscopy?
hi all, I had a
laparoscopy
in the middle of January with an endo and adenomyosis diagnosis and excision as well as insertion of the mirena coil. For the past two weeks or so I’ve been getting really intense pelvic pains.

Hi everyone, I'm on the waiting list for

laparoscopy
while going through IVF ?

post period pain
hi all, I had
laparoscopy
last week and was recovering fine, just took some paracetamol for the first few days. Then my period came and it bam, it feels like someone is stabbing me in the ovary, waking me up at night. It’s so painful.

post lap bloating- 2 weeks on!
I just have a question, I had my
laparoscopy
nearly 3 weeks ago now. My bloating is still there and gets worse when I eat. When does this go down fully? Is this normal? thanks Rosie

CP and Endometriosis?
I had a
laparoscopy
, and I was told I had scar tissue from "a previous surgery", only I'd never had surgery! Turns out it was endometriosis, which causes scar tissue.

How long were your symptoms relieved after surgery?
Hello 😊, I had my
laparoscopy
just over a month ago. They removed adhesions from left ovary and bowel. I feel like the symptoms I had before are ramping back up again but I don’t know if it’s all in my head or if it’s because I’m still healing from the op.

Adenomyosis misdiagnosis, baffled?!
I had a
laparoscopy
at the time and it was clear for endo, had my tubes flushed and they told me to try and conceive as soon as possible because of the adenomyosis. Several NHS and private scans over the years have confirmed the adenomyosis since.

Pain After Exercise
The specialist during my
laparoscopy
burnt away the endometriosis patches (I now know this is not the most ideal way of treating it) but said there was only one small patch and that I should no longer feel any pain. However, I am still getting quite a lot of pain and especially after running.

Sorry if this is depressing 😞
I had my
laparoscopy
surgery in February and I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Since the surgery my pain has leveled up, it’s so much worse and it’s throughout the month, not just when I’m on my period anymore.

looking for post surgery pregnancy positivity!
I just found out I am 4 week plus 4 days pregnancy after my
laparoscopy
8 weeks ago. I had right tube removed, several masses from my right ovary and my left ovary “unstuck” from back of my uterus. Also had work done on bowel, rectum and pouch. Stage 4 basically.

Laparoscopy - when do you know if it's worked? Will I have pain free days in my recovery? I'm 6 weeks after Op.
My story is quite long, so I will try to keep it brief. For 2 years I have had chronic pelvic pain after doing various tests that all came back clear I was offered a diagnostic
laparoscopy
. After 19 months of waiting I had the surgery 6 weeks ago.

reoccurring thrush on dienogest
Had a
laparoscopy
and ablation to remove cysts from my left ovary and to unstick it from my uterus. Since then I have been on dienogest which has been easing some of the symptoms and I now don’t bleed at all which is a big win as it’s one less thing to deal with.

another surgery just 6 months after my first!
I had my first
laparoscopy
in June 2023 where I was diagnosed with endo. Since my surgery, my pain has been worse than before, particularly when passing urine. This was a new symptom for me as I never had any issues with passing urine before surgery.

This was confirmed on mri but missed by
laparoscopy
. I am having to out a big complaint in, as how can you miss fibroids that large 😢 I have been expedited and have my hysterectomy next week. I can't wait. I will be putting in a big complaint due to the misdiagnosis.

Which surgeon
Desperate to find best
laparoscopy
specialist who is recognised nationally for his/her endometriosis surgery as well as having endometriosis as his/her special interest. We do not mind how far to travel or even pay privately.

Consistent pain after laparoscopy
I had a
laparoscopy
about 4 weeks ago now. They removed superficial endo from my ovary. They found adenomyosis in the muscle of the womb. They also remove superficial endo from my uterosacral ligament to the right of the urethra and recrum. They also inserted a mirena coil.

Advice for chronic constipation
My symptoms are so much better since my
laparoscopy
9 months ago but I’m still constipated all. the. time. My surgeon has told me repeatedly that he’s very confident he removed all present endo and that there was none on my bowel.

laparoscopy - recovery time before starting IVF.
Also, I read some posts re.
laparoscopy
And it appears 2 surgeries are described - exploratory
laparoscopy
and excise
laparoscopy
- so is it standard to require 2 procedures? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you
