I have finally got round to trying this specialist probiotic - and started taking it this week. There have been a few posts about this "psychobiotic" - a very specific genus of bacteria alleged to help with PD and other brain stuff. It obviously is of great interest to Winnie the Poo - microbiome and

Lactobacillus low on EMMA. Which vaginal probiotic?
Hi all, I have been given my EMMA results which show
lactobacillus
to be on the low side, and I have been advised to start vaginal probiotics for 2 weeks. Does anyone know where I can buy these from, and which are good quality?

I also asked them why another heavily promoted ingredient in Seratame was probiotic
Lactobacillus
acidophilus and why this was changed to L. plantarum, but again no reply. I have no views on the effectiveness of either formulation of Seratame, not having tried it.

EMMA test results - does treatment work?
The thing I'm most worried about is the Emma test, where I had 0%
lactobacillus
. The treatment plan is 7 days antibiotics followed by vaginal probiotics.

I've already had a lot of setbacks (2 attempts at myomectomy due to developing anaphylaxis and, as a result, no longer being allowed to have egg collection under anaesthesia, adenomyosis, upcoming polyp removal procedure and needing to correct 0%

Looking for recommendations for functional doctor in UK competent with adrenal fatigue, subclinical hypothyroid, HPA axis, digestion
She has given me
lactobacillus
reuteri to improve Vit D absorption. I would just like to have all my eggs in one basket with one good functional doctor who I can communicate in English who is experienced in my issues.

Lactobacillus and Levodopa
Has anyone seen the uTube video re the Gastro Intestinal doctor who advised against taking probiotics because of the adverse action of
lactobacillus
on Levodopa? I saw it recently and can't find it now - I am interested in reading further about the
lactobacillus
impact on Levodopa.

Anyone taking probiotics for fibrosis?
I started taking this
Lactobacillus
Helveticus Rosell-52ND and Bifidobacterium longum Rosell-175 from innovixlabs. I read in a journal article that the Helveticus can help with fibrosis. Well, I have no idea how it's working on my liver, but it has done wonders for my mood.
