Lactobacillus low on EMMA. Which vaginal probiotic?

Hi all,

I have been given my EMMA results which show lactobacillus to be on the low side, and I have been advised to start vaginal probiotics for 2 weeks.

Does anyone know where I can buy these from, and which are good quality?

Also finally has anyone had success after probiotics after multiple failures?

yes, I’m sure it helped me in finally having a successful transfer 😊 When I was looking for probiotics though (June last year) it was really hard to find them - most had to come from Europe 🙈 The clinic should have given you a list of ones to take. From the list I was given the only one available in the UK at the time was Canesflor (which takes several weeks to get through as a course) but worth checking again. I took Muvagyn, which is a 10 day course and I had to order it from Europe. But - I would say ask your clinic what they recommend. I ended up having to delay a transfer because I couldn’t get hold of them quickly. Best of luck with it all x

Like above I couldnt find much so had to order online but ended up going for the Canesflor. You take one a day for a week then one for 4 weeks aftwr so does take a month to finish but hopefully enough time before your next transfer x

Lots of good probiotics for your gut available easily that you can take with lactobacillus so I did that too to give my body an extra boost!

I also took canesflor and I just took one every day as per my doc’s instructions.

I am fairly positive it resulted in our successful pregnancy as I fell pregnant naturally in my next cycle, after 2 miscarriages 2 years apart.
