Please Advice
Because of spine injury that occurred 35 years ago, my Dexa Scan indicates that (the spine) L2 is 3.2, L3 is 3.1, L4 is 3.6. My Endocrinologist has prescribed Prolia and am reminded to take this drug each time I visit him. I have hesitated taking this for many years and recently started an exercise

Symptoms but no diagnosis. Frustrating. I've tried everything and would appreciate any kind of advice. Please note this is a very long post.
I started to feel discomfort on the right side below my ribs about a year and a half ago. It wasn't pain as such but more of a discomfort that one should not feel daily. I was drinking heavily at the time; beer, whiskey, tequila. This discomfort has now become chronic that would last for a few hours

Prenatal vitamins with Vitamin A and DHA?
I keep reading to avoid vitamin A in supplements while pregnant but yet I’m looking at some recommendations for prenatal vitamins that have vitamin A in them. Now this particular brand is an American one so maybe that’s why? But I’m just confused. Being told to avoid fish oil supplements because of the

Trying turmeric and fish oil as anti-inflammatory
I experimented for over a month with a high amount of turmeric and fish oil to try and lessen the inflammatory load in my system and hopefully to get a little more pain relief.. I was also taking 'relief factor' as seen on tv. I also cleaned up my diet and cut out foods that cause inflammation and added

I feel a bit left to my own devices but I'm not worried
Started pred 15mg on 23rd April, stayed on this for 6 weeks (a bit longer than I was advised by GP but I had a fall) then went to 12.5mg for about 6 weeks, now on 11mg since 3 dys ago ( my own dosage because I was scared to drop from 12.5 to 10). Feel ok at the moment. I had a phone appt with rheumy

UPSIT Smell Test & smell training
Has anyone taken the UPSIT smell test? What was your experience? I think my sense of smell is just fine. But I scored 31/40 on the UPSIT test which indicates mild microsmia. I had issues with the test. The paper in the booklets already had a sickening sweet smell which distracted my nose from the smells

Castor Oil
I said that I would report back after another catheterization. I just inserted a catheter and it went in as if there were virtually no obstruction. Unless it is just expectation and that I can some how control my sphincter which I haven't been able to in over a year, probably two. Getting ready for

No one will believe this
I have had difficult urinating for years. I have posted about catheter horrors and about finally finding one that works, sort of. I believe I have scar tissue at my bladder neck because that is where the cath encounters difficult in insertion. My urologist wanted to do another TURP, no way, it took

Lower Right Quadrant Pain
Hi, I have IBS and about a week ago started up with stabbing/twisting pains in my LRQ after mistakenly eating udon (didn't know it was wheat). I get pain around the belly button, right side and then down into the ileocecal area. Nothing helps. Not Tylenol or castor oil packs. It has waxed and waned for

Help! Is it the AA?
Hello everyone. What a great forum!! I am a 56 year old woman. I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis after breaking my elbow last December. I suspect that this is from my menopause (I was 43). I’ve had a horrendous menopause but was starting to feel much better last year but then I fell.

Mouth Ulcer relief!
I just want to share that I have found a few things that have brought me some significant relief as I deal with mouth ulcers on my lips, tongue and gums. I found a mouthwash at Natural Grocers called Miracle Mouthwash. It it manufactured by "Uncle Harry's Natural Products" and claims to be non-toxic,

Update: I can be such an idiot. I have not been diagnosed with PK. I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and my neurologist was kind enough to let me know PK is in my future (and/or LBD). My supplement list is intended to keep PK and LBD away (though truth be told my balance is not what it used to be, and
