Do medium-chain triglycerides downregulate mTOR?
I ran across some info about MCTs turning off mTOR and amping up AMPK (possibly resulting in an increase in autophagy and also lipolysis). Does anyone have any info on whether or not MCTs are potentially beneficial for prostate cancer?

The right doc. makes a world of difference!
She said to stop that and told me to take
Krill
oil
until we know what is causing the fat near my liver. I will also be adding sodium bicarb? something like that?

IBS gradually increased in frequency and severity so had to see what I could do. Thanks to the posts here I already feel much better. Used Buscopan which eased the stomach cramps quickly. Now taking probiotics (1 per day) and peppermint oil (2 per day) . Early days but definitely feeling better. Thanks

Does anyone have experience with herbal supplements for PMR?
I am about a month into treatment for PMR. So far 20 mg/day of prednisone is helping, but I still have significant pain in the AM. After talking to my rheumatologist, I just started some turmeric in addition to prednisone. It's too early to tell if it helps. Does anyone have any experience augmenting

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
Hi 🙂, Just meanderings of a tired brain today. Hoping I'm not the only one on this wave-length. Some days with endo are really tough, and some are deceptively "easy" like today, where I end up asking myself why I "can't feel normal". Stage IV endo is where I'm at, waiting for Tuesday for the recommendation
