High-intensity Exercise Can Reverse Neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s Disease
In fact, after six months of exercise, the neurons actually had grown healthier and produced stronger dopamine signals. Dopamine is a chemical that helps brain cells communicate with each other. The researchers published their findings in npj Parkinson’s Disease on February 9. https://medicine.yale.edu

The paradigm has shifted - castrate resistance.
It now appears that I’ve entered the land of castrate resistance and further ADT vacations are no longer in the plan. My T level recovered much more quickly during the last vacation than during previous vacations, and my PSA rose correspondingly. At 4 months my T level was 325 and my PSA was 4. Another

ALP AND RADIUM 223
My husband has had 2 sessions of radium 223 and the oncologist is pleased that his ALP has reduced to ‘normal’ levels after the first session and stayed the same after the second. However his PSA has continued to rise and has doubled over the last 3 months since he stopped abiraterone. The oncologist

Robotic surgery?
My mitral valve is deteriorating and surgery is in my future. I’m 72, in good health besides aFib and my valve. I’m interested in robotic surgery and if I would qualify. Curious what other folks experience is.

First round medication coming, what else do I need?
Hi all, hope all are well, coping and looking after yourselves. I’m about to start my very first IVF round, and just had our prescription through for the EC drugs / injections. I’m so excited & so fearful in equal measure! Have our nurse consult on Weds then likely start injections on Sunday/Monday

Hi there, Had a overall physical of everything which included PSA which was 6 in 2016 and didn't put any attention to it and ignored it, nobody I spoke with who saw the report said to do anything. No family history of prostate cancer that I know of. Now 7 years later age 64, PSA 18, Free PSA 11%

Bad news
I just got the BFN confirmed today from my first FET. Although expected I never thought to be hurting so much. It was my first round of IVF and I feel so defeated. I read stories of women going through their 6th, 7th, 8th cycle on here and I have to say that I rate you. I do not know where you find

6w+4 twins scan. Baby A- all good. Baby B- sac but nothing in it
Had an US today, baby A doing excellent, HR and all. Baby B- a sac only and is one week “behind”- Anyone had similar experience and second baby caught up and did well? I can’t help but think what if baby B implanted later and needs time? I did IVF. I’m grateful for one either way but have been having

Testosterone Gel - Any positive results from use?
Hi everyone, I've just finished a third round of IVF and got a BFN from my only embryo transfer. I've got severe endometriosis and low egg quality seems to be a persistent problem with all my cycles. My fertility clinic have suggested that I use testosterone gel for my next cycle to improve egg quality

Should i just give up? I am so confused about what to try next. My head is a total mess and feel like i cant go on today.
So stuck with deciding what to do. Should I try mild ivf ? Or go with a normal clinic? I don’t feel like my two previous rounds give me much of a clue based on their results. The nhs consultant said he would use the same protocol again in our follow up. But he also suggested moving to donor eggs ...
