Adding Vitamin K to D3 - K, K1, K2, Mk, etc?
I want to add K to my D and don’t know the specifics or dosing. I have a stockpile of about 6-12 months of D3 due to an auto-Amazon order and previously sharing the D with family. I take one a day - D3 at 2500 iu (62.5 mcgs). What specifically can I add to get the right k? K, k1, k2, what about mk7

Vitamin K Advice
I am running out of K2 capsules. I started with Vitabay drops, then Vitabay Tablets. Both were discontinued, so I moved on to Vegavero capsules. Now they seem to be unavailable. I was told I needed the all trans form (can't remember what that means!). Can anyone recommend anything with not too many

Bloods advice pls -starting T3 combo
Morning everyone, hope you're good. 😁I'm getting ready to start t3 combo. There have been a few hiccups with thyroxine dosage/supply. So currently, my prescription of thyroxine has gone up to 87.5mcg, (was put down to 75 as they didn't stock 85) & 5mcg of T3. I just wanted to check in with you to

Vit K recommendation
Hi everyone, I'd like to get a Vitamin K in soft gel (because I keep forgetting to take the drops!). Which ones do you recommend? I saw vitabay and vegavero mentioned on forum in older posts, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Links to where I can buy these would be helpful, too. Once

Essential nutrient results
I've just had the following results from my surgery and realise I now need to update my levels. I was told all are satisfactory!! Advice on best way forward would be hugely appreciated....my nutrient knowledge is too scrappy to be relied on!! I'm currently prescribed Fultium -D3 800 IUcapsules

Low platelets increased PT bloods and 'burning mouth syndrome' treatment.
Recent bloods show platelets down to 88 from 92 just 6 weekes earlier and my PT time has also increased. Recent 6 month US was ok but a polyp found on gallbladder that my Hepatologist will 'keep an eye on' at my next 6 month scan. Since cirrhosis diagnosis on Jan 31st 2023 I have had no alcohol and

Anticoagulants - Warfarin v NOACs
Recently my EP suggested that maybe I would prefer to be taking NOACs rather than my current anticoagulant Warfarin as it would reduce blood tests. On his recommendation I had a consultation with my GP to discuss this option. I have had 2 occasions in the past 6 years where I have had a serious bleed

Warfarin not raising inr....why?
I've been taking warfarin for 4 weeks trying to get to inr level between 2-3. Even though I'm taking higher dose 8mg my INR is staying at 1.3. I thought by 4 weeks it would have gone up on that dose. It's a pain because I got to have bloods taken every 3 days to see if it goes up. I'm not taking any

Energy back finally
it’s been a long haul. I am happy to say that after much dreaded fatigue, off and on when tapering ,I am finally feeling well with energy to live a normal style life. Adrenals were acting up a lot when trying to reduce from 3 down. Now at 2.25. Question , does this mean adrenals are functioning good

Vit D.
Quick question. How long does it take for Vit D to hit your system, any ideas? My Dr suggested I double my dose as it’s a bit on the low side so I’m taking 4000iu with Vit K 2 MK-7. I’ve done this for a week and I’ve just noticed my muscles aren’t aching so much and I’ve got a little more energy.

Best Vit K2 +Vit D3?
Hi. I've been reading here about vits K2 +D3, and am keen to try it as I don't want to take Alendronic acid. However, there's so many "makes"! I'm in the UK. I know you can't advertise but what should I be looking out for? Mk7 for vit K is the thing, containing natto I see from some posts, but what is

Diabetes and APs / Keto
i was diagnosed as APS back in 2005 and had stable INR controlled with warferin since then. A few months ago my cholesterol and glucose levels were high. just on the cusp of Type 2 diabetes. I lost 10kg weight with mix of diet and a lot more exercise. My cholesterol and glucose levels fine again.

Warfarin - Arterial Calcification
I keep hearing that there is a risk of arterial calcification in the arteries when on Warfarin> Something about the relationship between Vitamin D, Vitamin K and the way Calcium should travel to the bones rather than remain in the blood stream. Now I have been advised to take vitamin D as I seem

Blood test results and feeling "off"
I did my quarterly thyroid test last week, having brought it forward a bit due to feeling "off" - feeling very tired and lethargic, no libido, muscle weakness...this is despite stable thyroid levels that most would say look very good. Also had a lot of back and neck pain, which has been treated by an

avocado - anyone else ?
Hi and happy summer solstice, I’ve recently been trying to improve my diet and read that avocado has many good features, such as high fiber, good fat, vitamin c, b vitamins, folate, vitamin k, and something about it helps the body produce glutathione (an antioxidant which helps protect the liver.)
