since Christmas I have been suffering from a heavy cold with lots of catargh and coughing

Because of this I have developed a lot of bruises around my midriff

I have been told to stop taking Dabigatran and take vitamin K tablets until Tuesday

I am concerned about having a stroke during this period Has anyone got any advice?or experienced anything like this

I have no experience of this but if your Doc has told you to do this then they are the person to ask about it. Maybe you need a change of dosage or medication to stop the cough. It sounds really bad for you. I hope you get some relief soon.
