What type of arthritis?
My husband who is a carpenter has been complaining of painful, swollen tips of fingers. Went to doc who has done a blood test as he says there is an arthritis that attacks the small joints. Still waiting for blood results. Does anyone know which arthritis attacks small joints?

Wrist fushion
I have degenerating carpal bones caused by a bad fall 3 years ago. I am developing arthritis in my wrist which isn't too bad at the moment. Ultimately though, I may have to consider a total wrist fusion, and I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this procedure?

Does Kefir and Probiotics help with RA/RD? Link attached
Hi guys for some time a while ago I was buying and drinking milk kefir which is basically fermented milk full of healthy bacteria beneficial for the gut. I’d read a lot about how a leaky gut can affect the severity of RA/RD so thought I’d give it a try with only so-so impact. Due to the cost of buying

Hello hospital, my new home for the next few weeks
Well where do I start; I’m 28 a mother to a beautiful 5 year old boy. I have hyper mobility of my hip which has left me bedbound and has you can imagine it’s caused a bit of ripple affect. Every time I get an illness or sick bug I loose dramatic amounts of weight which is a lot in the last year. This

Deer in headlights needing some guidance
Hi everyone, I hope someone can please shed some light. I have had painful swollen joints to both middle, ring and index fingers and a burning sensation in my wrists. My doctor checked my rheumatoid factor, ESR and CRP all of which were normal and now he is fobbing me off saying this is all in my head

Balance and arthritis
I had no idea my balance would stay so affected. I don't feel dizzy--though at times weak. The balance seems to come from my feet. Any hints, wisdom or suggestions?

How to tell your PMR has gone
I,ve had PMR for 4 years. I’m down to 5mg and have got stuck there. I also have osteoarthritis so get aches and pains in other places too. If my PMR does decide to go will it be as suddenly as it came ie overnight! Or will I gradually realise i’m less tired ?
