Woke up this morning with a swollen bone on side of my foot. Can hardly walk at all. Something tells me this is arthritis.

If you didn't injure your foot It could be Gout. See your GP. I get it because of my heart medication , and take more to prevent it. Allepurinol .

My hubby was told that a glass of cherry juice every day keeps gout at bay.

It has worked for him for about six years now.

When I broke my inferior metatarsal (the long bone on the outside of the foot) I did not realise I had broken it for a while.

Gout normally affects the joint between the metatarsals and the toes (phalanges).
