I'm New - Boyfriend has EDS
Hello all! I do not know much about EDS other than what I've read online or what my boyfriend has told me about it. His EDS has always concerned me and it makes me sad because he believes his life expectancy is super short because some doctor told him this... It bothers me because not enough doctors

Joint hypermobility syndrome-what did you wish you'd known before?
Hi! So I'd been thinking today about what life could be for me in 20/30/40 years time as even in the last 5 years living with hypermobility syndrome has changed drastically for me. I know everyone's experience varies, but I wondered if anyone had any advice or things they wish they'd have done differently

Big thank you
I can't remember who to thank (Madlegs, maybe?) I've taken gabapentin for close to 30 years for unrelated nerve pain. About 5 years ago I was hospitalized and in the course of things, told that I had a magnesium deficiency and to supplement. So I have been taking magnesium. No one ever even mentioned

How long do L-dopa withdrawal symptoms last?
I took an over the counter L-dopa supplement (Macuna puriens) for a few months for my restless legs and then experienced augmentation and rebound. I stopped cold turkey a week ago and am experiencing withdrawal effects in the form of nervous system pain. Wondering how long it takes for the withdrawal

CBD oil over $80 an ounce each week is worth it to me to stop RLS.
My cousin gives me a discount on my .3% THC CBD oil at $80 an ounce that last about a week or so for me. I'd say 5% is a lot! By the time I used CBD oil I was so miserable with RLS that I would have made any sacrifice to get relief. I pray u find a cheaper solution. I tried gabapentin, Requip, pamelor

Do other dopamine boosters also cause augmentation?
I’m experiencing really bad RLS augmentation from supplementing with L-Dopa for three months, but wondering if I switch to other dopamine boosters such as Chlonine, Uridine, L-theanine, will the effect be the same? For context, this is what they specifically do: https://www.mindlabpro.com/blogs/nootropics

Should I fill the ropinirole prescription??
Went to neurologist yesterday to have epilepsy ruled out. (It was.) Mentioned I had RLS. Told him I was taking .5 milligrams of Valium every third day or so to keep the monster at bay. Mentioned that hydrocodone really helps me (But prescriptions are getting harder to get in the US. Mention the word

FET Cycle starting tomorrow
I start buserelin tomorrow for downregulation and am also having an endometrial scratch in preparation for frozen embryo transfer next month. This is our only embryo but we do have another round of NHS IVF if this transfer isn't successful which I'm hoping we won't need 🙏 Trying to stay positive but

Buserelin Spray leak
Hi, This is a completely random question but does anyone know if you can absorb Buserelin spray through your skin? Reason I am asking is that I had my full bottle of spray in my pocket whilst at work and it has managed to unscrew it’s self and leak. I have about 1/4 left of a full bottle before I

Anyone with PCOS had problems with egg quality/chromosome abnormalities with embryos?
I’m struggling to remain positive. I have had a failed fresh transfer and a failed FET and most recently a FET that ended in a chemical pregnancy all with top quality blasts. Absolutely gutted as I really though it was finally happening this time! Anyway I tried to reassure myself that we still have

METALLOSIS: I had a metal-on-metal hip resurfacting (Smith and Nephew in Birmingham) 13 years ago and now have a high level of cobalt in my blood from friction over the years.
