I am newly diagnosed with PD and have not started with any medication yet. But I take a daily "coctail" of:
B1 Thiamine hydrochloride powder 2 ml (close to 1 g)
NAC powder 1,5 g
l-citrulline 1 g
Glutathione 200 mg
Mannitol 4 ml
Creatine occationally
My spouse is complaining about my new body odor. I think it comes from B1 thiamine? Anyone else that have noticed that? Is it better to take pills than a water powder solution? Or is there anything else you could do to minimize the odor?
I have to admit that I was a little bit skeptical to trying B1. But I have a lot of non-motor symptoms and thinks it helps quite well so far to alleviate those. Still trying to find optimal dosage though. My motor symptoms are mostly bradykinesia and stiffness on the left side of my body.

I take B1 and NAC not aware of any change in body odor. However, I have noticed that the B1 seems to be a good mosquito repellent, so there is something that different that they notice or no longer notice.
For me it was an experiment where I was escalating my dose until at a dose of 2.4 grams, my stomach couldn't take it any more, so I don't really know what would be the best dose for you, sorry. I can say that at any of the doses I tried, I never noticed any difference from what I would consider my norm except for the gastro issue.
No body odor from thiamine HCL. If the odor is a musty smell, on this list few people have mentioned it that the parkie's have a musty smell and their Partners can smell it.
The smell from PD people can be detected by people with hypersensitive smell. it is musty or as my wife would say smells like old gym clothes at times. More frequent showers and deodorant.
