Jardiance

I have been feeling weak and ‘spaced out’ for some time so my consultant has suggested stopping my 10mg Jardiance for 4 weeks. Has anyone had adverse symptoms on this drug?

Anyone on here taking Jardiance and did it slow down the progression of kidney disease. Was diagnosed with kidney disease April 1, 2024.. so I am really new at this diet and everything that needs to be done.. Any information will be very helpful.

i was diagnosed with restrictive lung disease and put on jardience .i heard it helped kidneys.anyone else know about jardiance?

i started on 10 mg of jardiance and 40 of lipitor last month and have noticed an increase in the times i have to pee twice over what it was before,even with the water pill.is that a side effect or have i run into something else?

I've looked into it and overall it seems harmless to take Farxiga or Jardiance.

I've had afib for many years now its become permanent despite 3 ablations I have developed heart failure as well Im on Jardiance for this but I'm worried because I've read that permanent afib with heart failure can cause cardiac arrest does anyone know if that's true as I also have had 2 stents fitted

I also just started taking Metformin and Jardiance for high blood glucose. I'll see an endriconologist in January 2024

I was wondering does anyone know why Jardiance helps CKD, how does it work? Especially for people who don’t have diabetes.

Just rather alarmed such a small amount 10mg Jardiance a day?

I have been using empagliflozin/Jardiance for high blood sugar 88, when tested for diabetes 2 been taken off metformin which I have been on since March 2020, worry that my high blood sugar level is too high, despite loosing two and a half stone, so cholesterol is minimum?

They are: Eliquis, Jardiance, Xarelto, Januvia, Farxiga, Entresto, Enbrel, Imbruvica, Stelara, and Fiasp and certain other insulins made by Novo Nordisk, including NovoLog.

I did start on Jardiance in January. Does anyone know if this could be the cause?

started Jardiance a month ago. was just above the FDA starting limit at 46 (FDA says 45 is cut off for starting). eGFR came back as 52 today. hopefully it stays there this time. also resident MD is sending me referral for nephrologist.

after the appt I was taken off the blood pressure pill and they added Jardiance. then 5 days later retested my labs again. potassium was back to normal. eGFR is at 48 now. BUN is elevated at 27 and creatinine is 1.35 (lower than the 1.64 a week ago).
