I have a profile in advanced prostate cancer. When I set it up I didn't realize there was more than one prostate cancer network/forum. People in the advanced prostate form suggested I join this one. It's been awhile, but here I am. I'm a 63 year old who had an RP in March 2021. So far my psa tests have come back undetected, but realistically I'm a T3a that had a psa of 6.4 when I got my RP. Also GS of unfavorable 7 (4+3). My surgeon is Dr. Correa from Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. I also just started taking Metformin and Jardiance for high blood glucose. I'll see an endriconologist in January 2024

Undetected is a good thing but IMO get an Ultra Sensitive PSA Test. I was getting test results that kept showing less then >.01 but once it said flat .01, I said uh-oh and going forward ultra tests showed .099 then .137...
Most good Urologists will say don't worry until it hits .02 or even .03 but that just wrong or BS.
Just to be safe, I suggest you schedule an intro meeting with Dr. Eric Horwitz of Fox Chase, one of the very best in the mid Atlantic. His schedule is booked for months ahead so I suggest schedule it now. Nothing to lose and then you have one of the best looking out for you.
<0.1 Start worrying
0.2 Call your MO
0.3 Have MO start treatment.
Mine hit 0.4 by the time I got my first Lupron shot.
After recurrence, no need for ultra sensitive anymore, its just for post initial treatments.
Once your PSA goes over 0.1 call an Oncologist, not a Urologist.
