Acute vs chronic ITP
He was hospitalized and started on an
IVIG
transfusion right away as his petichial rash seed to be spreading right before our eyes. He bruised everywhere he was touched and became so lethargic that he was almost non-responsive. The docs said ITP and say that it is most likely acute.

Using Engineered T-Cells to fight Leukaemia (Fire With Fire)
It also leaves CLL patients with no B-lymphocytes, so they need
IVIG
transfusions thereafter to boost their immunity.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the U.S. that performs the indium screening test? My hemo says it's officially "not recommended here.
I've been on various steroids,
ivig
, rituxan, danazol, and am now approaching the highest dose of nplate, with counts stil hovering at 10 and below, but am not anxious to lose my little spleenette if it's not likely to help.

20 mo old diagnosed with ITP
He had
IVIG
treatment and we were told this is a common disease and would resolve on its own. Here we are back in the hospital for another
IVIG
and dangerously low platelets. We are so confused and it's difficult to understand what went wrong.

Does any cll patient feel that stress adds to their general demise??
He currently has
ivig
every 28 days, and has nebulised colomycin for haemophyllus influenza which he developed whilst we did the major house clean. In the long term, I feel to be nearer the hospital would be very beneficial, but in the short-term I am concerned the move might enhance the need for more

Talk about Lack of support
I'm supposed to be having a kidney and skin biopsy and maybe a
IVIG
but my manager has said I must rearrange this as there is no cover - I've explained the these appointments are like gold dust and infact I can not put this off as it is very serious and possibly life changing depending on the results

IVIg

Does anyone else have IVIG monthly infusions?
I have been having
IVIG
infusions for about 2 yrs now and don't know I notice a difference. I wasn't sure if you do feel different or if you just get less serious infections. Felicity
