Hcg levels

Hi I got a surprise bfp last weekend.Natural pregnancy!.Complete shock as i had my amh tested in Sept and it was only 1.23pmol/l.We had decided to try another round of ivf in May.We had our beautiful daughter in May 2023 after our second round of ivf.I had my hcg tested and it came back at 113 for 14 days post ovulation.I am terrified that this is to low.At 13dp 3dt I had a hcg reading of 853.So reading was much higher!Any stories of successful pregnancy with this level of hcg??.Doctor will not do another hcg as he was extremely reluctant to do one in the first place as it was not an ivf pregnancy nor was it requested by a consultant.xx

Congratulations! And I had the exact same thing - my hcg was 80 at about 13dp ovulation which seemed so low compared to my successful FET but I think with natural the whole process takes longer and the dates are pretty uncertain. I found it very stressful not knowing what the levels should be or what the lines should look like, compared to the control and much more strict timelines of IVF. Plus not being on any meds freaked me out as I was convinced I needed progesterine support. But it had gone to 430 4 days later and continued to rise well, and am now 7mnths. My GP did the HCGs for me, but I've also had private bloods done (online company) in the past as my NHS clinic wouldn't do them, so worth trying those options.

Thank you so much for replying.I'm from Ireland and I can't find any online companies that will do it for me.Unless I travel to a fertility clinic which would be a 7 hour round trip so not feasible.I did a clear blue wks indicator on Mon that read 1-2 and it had increased to 2-3 on Thurs so at least it seems to be moving in the right direction.I will do another on Fri to see if it moves to 3+.Wishing you the best for the rest of your pregnancy.xx

Ah, fair enough. And GPs seem very reluctant, even though it's not an expensive test and it's definitely a medical issue, which is very frustrating. Well if the CB test has changed to 2-3 that's a great sign! Don't stress too much about it moving to 3+ exactly on time though (I drove myself a bit mad at that particular stage and spent a fortune on those weeks indicator tests...)
