IVF 3 days since embryo transfer positive test

Hi everyone

I had my embryo transfer (1 embryo) on Thursday past (3 days ago) .. I’ve took a pregnancy test to stop myself obsessing on the internet and there is 2 lines , second line is faded but very clear, is there a chance it could disappear again as the week goes on or should I be happy ?! Me and my husband have been trying for nearly 3 years this is our first ivf round , I think I’m in denial until someone tells me otherwise !

It depends if it was a fresh transfer where you had a trigger injection or if it was a frozen transfer. If you had a trigger injection (which contains HCG) then it could mean that you are seeing traces of that on the test. If you had an FET and have had no HCG as part of your treatment then I would say it is a positive result. Good luck

Thank you Skittles11 I had a fresh transfer so I won’t get my hopes up yet , I did not know that the trigger injection may still affect a pregnancy test so thank you

. Good luck thoug, crossed fingers.Yeah it's best to wait a while, the trigger that I used says it lasts for about 10 days in the body so up to about day 3 ish after transfer then it fades away...
