Coil removal - won't stop bleeding
Hiya, I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience/ can advise me at all. I had my mirena coil removed on the 26th January (wasn't sitting right with me, I had it in for almost 4 months) and since I seem to be non stop bleeding, I then seem to completely stop for a day and then it starts over again

Gynae consultant says MRI is clear, but I've had endo treated before and I'm still in pain. Not sure what to do.
This is my first time posting here, trying to figure out what to do and would really appreciate any and all advice! I was first diagnosed with endo in 2015 when I ended up in A&E with the most excruciating pain. I had an internal scan in which they found a huge ovarian cyst - size of an orange, and

Mentally drained...
I had a laparoscopy 3 months ago and a coil fitted at the same time. My pains seem to have got worse, maybe coil related, so I had a doctors appointment again today and have got an examination booked for next week. I have been struggling with pains for 2 years, which I know isn't long in the grand scheme

Advice on treatment next steps (before IVF)
Hello, I’m relatively early in my treatment journey but already thinking about next steps, so it would be great to hear from anyone who has been on a journey. I’m on round three of a medicated cycle (letrozole +HCG shot + cyclogest pessaries) to treat a luteal phase defect. My husband has normal sperm

Coil and Endometriosis
Hi all! I had my first laparoscopy back in May 2022 and I had a mirena coil put in as this was meant to help with the endo. A little background, it took me 9 years to be diagnosed and was put on every pill under the sun because my body would basically override it within 6-18 months. Having said that,

Had an echocardiogram today... No results though as its my 1st since having an ICD fitted. I am disappointed and relieved at the same time! My husband is super and my absolute rock. He is sure my heart is getting stronger because I am not sleeping so much in the day, so thats enough for me! I am not

IVF to IUI
hi all, after a failed transfer and how badly I reacted to ivf I finally moved to IUI and was on letrozole for 5 days, scanned at day 10 and had a leading follicle at 20mm, 2 at 11 and 1 at 7 lining was great as well. I then triggered that morning (10am) at the dr’s rooms. Around 8pm I could actually

Any advice?
My nearly 18 y/o has a 4 year plus history of endo. Confirmed with lap. A year ago mirena coil fitted, no improvement , constant bleeding - tried desogesterol, provera and now noriday. We have been repeatedly told she should persevere with the coil, it’s the “ holy grail” of endo treatment and we should

Was diagnosed with ARVD in August 2008 after checking myself into hospital after fainting. After the condition was finally diagnosed I was given an ICD as insurance against a potential arrhythmogenic issue. In 2017 insurance policy paid out when I had a VT storm where ICD fired 60 times in 45 minutes

ICD fitted in 1997! & I live a normal life
I write this not to wrong anyone, but to give those people who are struggling with doctors’ diagnoses hope, encouragement, and wonderment. To give another perspective. I know everyone is different, and not one fits all... It all started in 1997 when I had a cardiac arrest the day after a night out in

I also have one but did not want to wear the dark coloured plastic ones. I bought this one online and it has my details of heart failure, ICD and ICE number on it.I wear it all the time never take it off.

I’ve never had a baby so an

is not an option for me. Im looking at the Depo shot or the nexplanon implant. However she did say depo can make my depression worse. Does anyone have any in-site with this?

Mirena coil?
I have a laproscopy scheduled soon and my doctor suggested I get a Mirena coil placed in. May I please ask if anyone has had this coil placed in? What was the removal procedure like?

Are Pool and Sauna dangerous with ICD?
I am 59 with paroxymal afib with a pacemaker/ICD. For the last 3 months, I had been using saunas. However, this week as I suffered covid, I took a hot bath. I got shocked multiple times by my ICD. Now, I definitely will stay away from saunas! I am even afraid of swimming 🏊♂️ which I have been enjoying

just looking for some support, not entirely sure I just want someone to listen and help me :(
hello, I’m just looking for advice on what to do. I had a surgery in September (for endo) where they found scar tissue wrapped around my ovaries and bowel, they then said I’m no longer their problem and took me off the gyno list. Since then my pains just are getting worse. I’m not sure what to do

Is it time for donor eggs?
A little back story. I'm 39 years old single doing IVF for almost 2 years and IUI before that. I've just found out this morning (4am because of course that's when I needed to pee and now I can't back to sleep!) that my latest transfer has failed. Out of my 4 rounds of IVF I've produced 17 eggs and
