18 year old ICD recommended - any similar experiences?
Hi, my 18 year old daughter has just been recommended to have an ICD fitted. Understandably she's pretty devastated right now (though I appreciate that the hospital wouldn't have recommended she have one if they didn't consider it necessary). Is there anyone on this site of a similar age who has an

My Wife & I are on our second cycle of IUI, but may have to abandon again...
Hi all, I wondered if anyone can share their experiences or offer any advice. My Wife and I are going through our 2nd cycle of IUI. We had to abandon our first cycle due to my Wife's follicles only reaching 11mm by CD21. My wife has PCOS and has had both cycles injecting Gonal F. We are now CD14 and

Bleeding while on Pill every day
Hi, I had a bilateral salpinectomy in January 2018 and had the coil fitted at the same time. Mild endo was discovered during the procedure - I didn't know I had it until that point. The coil didn't work out for me and in March 2019 I had it removed and was advised to take the pill every day so as to

Pregnant with IUD
We were certainly shocked to learn this since I have had a ParaGard
IUD
in place for a little over a year. I had the device put in at my 6 week checkup after having my daughter in March of 2018. We visited our OBGYN immediately. He discussed the good and the bad.

Please can anyone advise?
Hi, I haven't posted for a while but I'm struggling at the moment. I had a laporoscopy in March and a coil fitted. I am constantly leaking fluid through my clothes and feel unwell. I'm on metronidazole and doxycycline given from A and E. My specialist appointment is in October. Think I need a hysterectomy

Round cancelled
My second round of ovulation induction IUI was cancelled last week. Everything was on track but then my lining suddenly halved in thickness between one scan and the next 3 days later. They also saw fluid on scan. I was told this can happen and that I'd probably have bleeding soon and could start again

So annoying as after 3 years of trying every month weve never had

My coil isn’t helping :( any alternatives for endo?
I’ve had the Mirena for a 16 months and now the jaydess for three months. They both make me bloated, emotional, don’t take away my pain and give me migraines! Are there any alternatives that have worked for you ladies? X

Hysterscopy - lost coil
Has anyone had a hysterscope? I have one today to try to find the coil. They said I’d be waiting months if I opted for general and this coil is causing daily agony so I need it gone ASAP. Now the scope is today and I know I won’t be able to tolerate it, I’m so scared I’m thinking of cancelling

The minera coil and bladder issues
Has anyone had the minera coil and bladder issues? Like recurring cystitis or perforated bladder? I’ve had the coil in 5 months and have had issues from the very first day- more cramping, lots more pain etc etc. More frequent need to urinate (odd side effect!) Was told I had to give it 6 months to know

Bio Oil
Just gone online to get some Bio Oil to put on my scar after having an ICD fitted. The product is on Limited Time Deal of £9.99 for 200 mls, normally over £20. I know we can't mention companies, but as a clue this company is named after a big river! Get yours now while stocks last!

Bowels and pain
Hi guys my period is running very late this month (day 30) however I am on the coil but I still normally bleed a little. Anyway the last three mornings I’ve woken in agony, rolling in pain, until I’ve opened my bowels. The pain then slowly starts to ease but still have residual pain cramps through out
