I have a small iud called jaydess. I’m not sure if it helps endo but it’s the only contraceptive that hasn’t given me horrendous side effects.
I had excision in December and felt good but over he past few months I’ve had spotting and cramping. I wondered if the iud has dropped so I went to the clinic to get it checked, but she can’t find it!!!
I’ve been referred for a scan to check it but atm the bleeding and cramping is worse than ever.
Has anyone experienced this?

Hi, I had the same thing happen. I had a terrible day where I was bleeding loads and had cramp, I was booked in for an ultrasound anyway so mentioned the coil and they couldnt see it so had to have an x day and it wasnt there and had fallen out. I had a second one fitted and when I had my smear test I asked her to check it and she couldnt find it so off again for an ultrasound and an x ray and that one had gone too. I do some pretty big fibroids and they said it was probably them that had pushed it out.
