Clearly us hashi sufferers cannot absorb
iron
very well it seems.. I also avoid dairy and try my best to avoid gluten I eat sourdough bread or rye bread… My anxiety and depression is now back and I am sure it’s the low ferritin level!?

Iron levels
Had an awesome break through with a locum GP who checked my
iron
levels, found them to be low and gave me Ferrous Sulphate. It’s worked wonders. Yay!

Suspect thyroid issue
I'm concerned my
iron
and b12 are at the low end of the normal range. And my T4 seems borderline to me. Should I be requesting further thyroid tests and will they do them?

I’m not taking any
iron
supplements. I take vit D3+K2 and magnesium taurate plus folate. I’m on 3 grams of Armour NDT. I’m exhausted all the time since about the last two months or so and can’t even walk the dogs.

What dose of Gabapentin
Ive been doing that for around a week now - as well as the
iron
every second night The thing is I wake up around 3 hours wanting to thrash around the bed - I have then been taking 50mg of tramadol (which I had previously been using to drop down the dosage to where I am now now) to reduce the symptoms

PV Research study
The drug is called rusfertide - it says it is designed to control the amount of
iron
available to make red blood cells. There is no financial compensation to be part of the study but it will help advance PV research.

Prostate Cancer Diet and Re-purposed Meds
She also added a second portion on a book re-released, with a Ferroptosis (death by
iron
) protocol. I thought the criticism to be amazing. Cancer is a baffling mystery, top scientist and great minds still haven't solved.

Could it be MS?
(I can't take
iron
due to my body overloading on
iron
so if I really do have a severe case of anemia, no one will treat it at this time.) Any thoughts on what other conditions show bands that mimic MS?

Baby aspirin and iron tablets in IVF pregnancy.
My midwife prescribed 2 x 75mg aspirin and
iron
tablets at 12 weeks. I went to my 36 week appointment and had a completely different midwife and she has told me to stop taking both medications. Has anyone else taken these doses for an IVF pregnancy and been told to stop at 36 weeks?

She has only been off any B12/folate for 5 weeks (she does eat B12 fortified foods) but has been taking
iron
. Her medical history is low platelets but she obviously also has hashimotos. Really low FT4 but high FT3 (body flogging itself or low iodine?), very bizarre.

Id really appreciate your thoughts on my latest blood test results on Erfa 2 grains -still not feeling great- Im thinking bloods now? Help!
I’ve even bought some chicken liver pate this week which is tough as I was a veggie of nearly 40 years, for the last year I’ve eaten beef so thought I’d best try the pate as I cannot take
iron
due to a serum
iron
level above normal.

I'll keep taking my
Iron
and magnesium. Have bought a B complex but it seems to have made me feel awful so going to get one with lower dosages. Looks like I'll need to add Vit D too. Can anyone explain the antibodies to me, please? I would be grateful for any other advice, too.

I am a little lost in my tapering regime
I am still taking the
iron
supplement every other day and at least two hours after a dose of gabapentin. I think I am confused.
