Dissecated liver for iron
Hello, I’ve had issues with my ferritin being low, even though I’ve been supplementing with
iron
for a while. Has anyone tried dissecated liver to get their
iron
levels up? If so, do you have one that you would recommend?

new member advice on gp appts
She’s anemic and on
iron
tablets. Has had scan and waiting for results. My question is how do we proceed at Drs instead of being told to just go on the pill. She really doesn’t want to do this as it makes her depressed. Can we ask for gynaecology referral? Dr is ringing her this week. Thank you

T3 trial continues
Hi there - here are my latest bloods - done fasting with no meds and before 9am - last dose of levo 24 hours before - last dose T3 12 hours before I've worked hard at improving vitamins and minerals - still ferritin is a bit low but currently on a dose of
iron
tabs from GP so may improve by the end

Then my B12 and
Iron
levels got very low and I just didn't have the energy to complete the 30 days. I was wondering if anyone else has tried any that they could recommend or even any good videos on YouTube The one I used was called Yoga-Go. Thanks

Levo increase or not?
I have also been supplementing as directed by advice on here, including addressing my
iron
deficiency. I haven't retested other minerals & vitamins yet as need to take the
iron
for a further month before GP will re test. I am also on day 32 of the AIP diet. Overall, i feel pretty amazing.

A night in the life of RLS
I have increased Pregabalin to 100mg with
iron
supplement at night but I’m afraid it’s still not quite working. Get between 2-3 hours before legs start and then I’m up and down all night. Interestingly, I know experience RLS in both legs not just one.

trying to get B12 SI schedule right for me
I think I’m due for blood labs shortly including CBC and
iron
panel. Besides feeling exhausted and other symptoms, I’m noticing serious under eye darkness. I take vitamin and mineral supplements.

Iron Blood Test out of range - advice please!
I'm taking 2 x 20mg Thorne
Iron
Bisglycinate 25mg tablets on alternate days. Looking at my last results, things were going in the right direction then (having changed brand of
iron
and taking alternate days)...however does this result show I am now over supplementing?

Hope this is a blip...
Taking
iron
, folic acid, VitD as recommended and eating a daily banana. All levels were good when tested a month ago. Also noticing blood sugar levels suddenly seem to drop randomly - not measuring them, but feeling typically shaky and clammy.

I am not sure yet if I have pernicious anaemia, or whether it is a gut dysbiosis problem as I do not appear to be absorbing nutrients well, including B12,
iron
, folate, and possibly others. And I also have low diamine oxidase which is used to control histamine.
