Hi guys, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well! I took the plunge and started taking T3 back in November. I had RAI to zap my thyroid years ago and became poorly soon after and have been since. It was suggested I try T3. Long story short, I am currently on 112mcg levo and 25mcg T3. I reduced

Hair loss/thinning please help!
In november i was supplementing
iodine
and also taking vitamins, some of them actually had additional
iodine

How are your calcium and PTH levels?
(by the way--people who took radio active
iodine
are advised by the NDC to have their PTH hormone levels tested every 5 years) Recently I have suffered from insomnia and extreme tiredness. Occasionally I've been waking up in the middle of the night with numb or tingling hands.

Other questions about MRI scans vs PET/CT
We can't use
iodine
contrast (he's allergic) and we usually have done an MRI without gadolinium... Can someone help me with information to help convince our doc to do an MRI. He's had them before. I don't understand why not now. The PET/CT isn't also correct.

A newbie just hoping for some pain relief advice.
Hi, I am brand new to this. I haven’t had confirmation of endometriosis and my appointment with a specialist has been cancelled due to recent circumstances. However I have done all my research and I will be extremely shocked if it isn’t. My GP seems pretty convinced too. I have tried ibuprofen, paracetamol

I'm new here - advice on possible hypothyroid blood tests
I would like opinions on things like
iodine
/selenium; ashwaghanda; diet etc. if I am subclinical? I apologise profusely for the very long post/question, but wanted to give as much info as possible at once. I hope it is not too long? Thanks in anticipation.

Also I developed constipation and indigestion /acid reflux since the radio active
iodine
treatment. In August 2019 my blood results were T4 22.5 TSH 0.10 when I was taking 100 mg daily. I reduced the dose then to 100mg 5 days a week and 75mg 2 days (weekends).

Big shock regarding my congenital hypothyroidism!
All I can find is that the tissues are producing the
iodine
to secrets the hormones. That should be a good proof to any endo or doctor that I am not producing enough t3. Shouldn't it? Why no doctors or anyone before picked up on that.
