hi, does anyone know anything about sea moss supplements. I’ve heard really good things, but it has iodine in, so I’m not sure if I can try it with hashimotos.

If it has iodine in it, I would leave well alone Rowing2. This is a useful link on iodine:healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

What symptoms are you wanting to alleviate (that led to research on sea moss)?

I looked through the advertising/sales information for quite a number of sea moss products.

Almost none tell you how much iodine they contain.

They make so many claims of the sort that should not be made - such as 0% or free-from loads of things you'd never have expected to be in them.

The sheer amount of promotion puts me off. Along with inconsistent information. And any negatives are relatively hard to find.
