you may find this list helpful.
It shows which foods to avoid & which foods make good substitutes.
Coconut milk is a recommended option.

It’s coconut cream can’t find answer to
Creams of all sort seems to be a on avoid list, including as an ingredient in recipes.
But isn't coconut cream just concentrated coconut milk?
One forum post, though rather old!, suggests that at least some products based on it are low-iodine diet safe!

LID-safe coffee creamer
Nov 9, 2014 • 2:52 AM
Yesterday at Trader Joe's, I discovered a coffee creamer that is LID-safe. It is "Trader Joe's Original Coconut Creamer" (non-dairy). The coconut in it is organic, and the other 4 ingredients are LID-safe - dried cane syrup, dipotassium phosphate, titanium dioxide (for color) and xanthan gum. It is found in the dairy case with the other creamers. It is fat-free and has only 5 calories per tablespoon. I am very picky about coffee creamers, and for fat-free this is definitely a winner. I don't really like the taste of coconut in most things, but this does not taste like coconut. It has a slightly sweet taste (from the cane syrup). And the shelf life (refrigerator) is over 90 days. I hope this helps those of you who live in TJ cities and need a decent LID creamer.
