Hi AllLooking for some advice on
Inulin
...dietary fibre. Wondering wether to give it a go reading about it, seems to benefit just about everything!! Is it good for us 'Thyroids' though? Has anyone tried it? And does it cause bloatedness/flatulance/diarrhoea?

I don’t care which supplement is working.
Edit 08/30/24: I took
and a Probiotic less than a month. I quit mainly because of sleep problems Today I took: - 2 scoops of
Inulin
and a Probiotic first thing in the morning. My whole body felt tingly for 45 minutes.

Is There A Natural And Available Alternative To Fecal Microbiome Transplantation (FMT) ?
This brings me to a new study (April, 2024) that used a combination of 6 probiotics and prebiotic (
Inulin
) in combination, but the prebiotic alone consisted of 5 grams (5000 mg) of
Inulin
prebiotic.

Supplement absorption
Bacillus subtilis Benfotiamine Agave
inulin
Nattokinase Vitamin D3 Berberine Taurine Would anyone recommend splitting them? I remember when I was pregnant, I’d been taking iron supplements for anemia with a glass of milk.

prebiotic collagen protein
It contains collagen peptides,
inulin
and pea fibre . The reason i want to take it is due to life long IBS and for the last ten years chronic and acute gastritis of stomach and duodenum. Diagnosed on regular scopes and unrelated to CLL. Also i am virtually vegetarian with occasional fish.

Prebiotic Probiotic Antibiotic... What's the deal?
Thanks to chartist for sharing the research that 6 strains (L. acidophilus, L. fermentum, L. plantarum, B. longum, B. lactis, S. boulardii) along with 5 grams of
Inulin
FOS significantly increased SCFA. This may be beneficial by indirect action.

PD: the gut, covid, etc.
With reference to the Helsinki Study’s claim that desulfovibrio is a potential cause of PD, I read that agave
inulin
(already part of my regimen) can reduce the levels of desulfovibrio. I also read that glycomacropeptides also help. How do we get glycomacropeptides?

Pre-biotics vs post biotics - do we need pre, post or both?
This is a follow up post to the recent one about
inulin
. I had spent a lot of time involved with post-biotics but never really considered pre-biotics at all to date.

5/14/24; My current attitude - striving to be an old curmudgeon
I, for one, hereby declare I am not buying any
Inulin
and a Probiotic, Urolithin A, and Spermidine. I’ll wait for to see if there becomes a large following on the forum, first.

I don't know who to turn to.
I am so depressed. Last week it was milk spilt on a small Turkish rug - a long job trying to get it out, and this morning, I was rewarded with a lie-in after having been got up in the night and I came downstairs, planning to put the robot vacuum cleaner over the floors, when to my dismay, I found

Dapagliflozin, Type 1 diabetes, heart failure and ketoacidosis...anyone with experience of this combo?
My wife was recently diagnosed with severe heart failure and an LVrEF of 30-35%. She has had permanent atrial fibrillation for the last 14 years and has had type 1 diabetes for over 40 years. When she was discharged from hospital she was given a variety of medications which the dispensing nurse went

Please please please think carefully before doing ADT
I was just told by two different doctors that, due to an issue with my testicles and how they've reacted to ADT, there is a good chance (25-50%) I will NEVER recover testosterone after ADT . This was in NO WAY communicated to me before I agreed to have this treatment in addition to radiation. I specifically
