Hello, please see my profile for history on my dad's condition. He went to the ER this weekend with severe flank pain and CT revealed left-sided hydronephrosis as likely cystic soft tissue mass obstructing the left ureter. An anterograde stent was placed after failure of retrograde stent. The cancer

After Four Cycles of Ra-223
After four cycles of Ra-223 sadly it seems not to be doing as well as we would of liked. I have numinous new uptakes (to numinous to mention) as well as an increase in size of some of the older sites while a few have decreased in size or disappeared the new activity is outweighing the overall success

I feel like my life imploded
Life has been a rollercoaster. I have barely been able to get out of bed. My meds quit working months ago. My veins quit cooperating so they've been using the veins in my hands before they decide to put a port in me- Which I am not looking forward to. I have done everything they've said to avoid it,

Experiencing possible neuropathy in my trunk
I had had 10 rounds of radiation to treat two spinal bone mets back in March. I am on Lupron (first shot was in March) and abiraterone and prednisone daily. PSA has plummeted and doing good. Prepping for chemo in May. This past Wednesday I started feeling some discomfort in my front and back. It's hard

Alimta - Fevers
My mum has been fighting this disease since 2016. At diagnosis she was high grade OC stage 3c. After initial surgery and chemo she was in remission for 5 years but unfortunately the beast returned in 2021 and since then she has been under constant treatment. Her last scan a few months back showed

Hydroxycarbamide
Hello I’m taking Hydroxycarbamide 500mg daily for the last 3 years for ET jak2 positive. Yesterday 4 of my fingernails came away from the skin bed…… so sore and painful. I have asked Doc Google who says this can be caused by long term chemotherapy medication. Has everyone had this issue and if so

Thank you
I am overwhelmed with gratitude to all those that have responded to my post yesterday . I responded individually to the first people ( I’m not sure how to private message , I’m a bit crap with technology and my texting thumb is numb 🤦🏻♀️) But thank you all . I have had both psychology sessions

6 pluvicto treatments completed in January 24
Treatments went well. My PMSA scans never showed improvements but my labs were good and I felt good. Psa decreased from 53 to 5.6 over 8 months. April bone scan shows progression. Mo says chemo again is next call. We are enjoying this time as still feeling good.

Following SOC here in BC Canada
I am currently at the CRPC stage of my disease. About 7 years since diagnosis. Started with ADT and Docetaxel. Was able to be castrate sensitive for 4.5 years. Tried to add Abiraterone and it failed after a couple of months. Had Radium 223 and it was okay but did nothing to the PSA. Cancer kept progressing

Low platelets
Hi all, my mum is just going through chemo for small cell lung cancer. She has just had her second treatment, which was carboplatin and etoposide. This knocked for six and she has been in hospital with low white blood cells, low haemoglobin and has no immune system. I appreciate these are common side

Prostate Cancer Diet and Re-purposed Meds
I was just reading a post about Jane Mcclelland's protocol regarding her book, "How to starve cancer." She also added a second portion on a book re-released, with a Ferroptosis (death by iron) protocol. I thought the criticism to be amazing. Cancer is a baffling mystery, top scientist and great minds

GemCarbo and picc line advice please!
Hi ladies, I've seen my oncologist today (well, one of his minions anyway) to find out about my treatment plan for my first recurrence. They've told me that I'll have gemcitabine with carboplatin this time round, so I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about this regime please? Even though carbotaxol
