Chemo mucositis?
After chemo session #5 I thought I had bronchitis; coughing up very thick mucus from down deep in the chest, but it cleared up in about 10 days, and is back again after chemo #6, so I'm guessing it's chemo induced mucositis. Anyone have tips for dealing with this beyond salt/baking-soda mouth washes

Endo!
I'm reaching out for advice. I've had Endo for years now. 4 Laparoscopy surgeries. The last one they removed my left ovary. For the past 7 months I've experienced chronic pelvic and back pain. I've also have recurring discharge, no odour light yellow in colour. The doctors are baffled! I'm 57 now and

Disimpacted 9 year old and still soiling
my 9 year old has been suffering with chronic constipation for 6 years, we are all at our wits end. It is hugely affecting my, but more importantly her, mental health. At the beginning of July we had a hospital stay for disimpaction via a NG tube. This was effective. Doctor prescribed 5 ml of sodium

petrified about possible colon cancer symptoms/diagnostic process
Hi folks! I'm a 40 year old caucasian male. My risk factors include: being overweight, a history of alcohol and tobacco use (10 years beyond those), little exercise, and poor diet. About 4 years ago, I had a 14mm polyp removed during a colonoscopy. The symptom that led me to get checked, was chronic

Stronger sense of taste on Urso
Has anyone here noticed a stronger sense of taste whilst taking Urso? Specifically sweet and salty tastes seem much stronger since I have been taking them.

Anniversaries To Remember
It is

today (on the 28th of April 1959) that at the age of 17 my peptic ulcer burst whilst I was working as an apprentice electrician on a new Co-op Superstore on the "Big Top" site in the middle of Birmingham. (An artist's impression of the eventual finished building)

I have recently had a colonoscopy which resulted in all biopsies being clear. So have had a diagnosis of ibs d and possible Bile Acid Malabsorption. My consultant started me on 1x 4g sachet once a day for a week and increased to two sachets a day for a week. But I’m still having very loose, frequent stools

3 year old poop withholding journey
My 3 year old daughter has been poop withholding on and off for a year. Lucky she has never had any poop accidents because I would never let her go more than 3 days without a poop- I would put a suppository. She was on senna for 3 weeks and we slowly weened her off until she would poop everyday on her

Is it normal?
Is it normal that a doctor just says you have IBS and sends you off with PPIs to take to see if it helps? I began getting upper abdominal pain a year ago, and sometimes I don’t feel it for a couple of weeks and then it comes back. It’s not accompanied by anything else, I do suffer with constipation
