Is anyone still taking Co-proxamol pain killer?
Hi there I've just given some quotes to a journalist from the Mail on Sunday about my experience of having to stop taking co-proxamol when it was taken off the market as a regular pain killer used by many for managing different types of pain. At that time I was getting it as a named patient from my GP

Anyone else in the diagnosis stage just feeling exhausted and mentally drained?
I first went to a doctor about pains way back when I was either 17 or 18. They were put down to period pains and that was it. But they kept happening. I just ignored them, thinking I was just imagining it or overreacting. But in November last year they got unbearable. Went back to the doctors - a new

PAIN EVERYDAY - What to do
My pain has been so frequent recently making me vomit and dizzy. I’m under a lot of stress with uni atm and many so I know my body is exhausted. I’m trying to stop taking strong pain killers like tramadol but sometimes the pain is unbearable I can’t even walk or get up. I have not had an operation yet

Symptoms abate when the immune system has something else to deal with ?
Hi. I’ve broken my ankle and was expecting that with the PMR too, using crutches was going to be very painful with my shoulders and also shuffling upstairs on my bum using good leg and arms for leverage. In fact. I’ve not felt a twinge from PMR since doing it two weeks ago today. I’ve stayed on my

How is it still an acceptable comment?
Hi there! Hope you’re all doing ok. I went to the doctors this week to discuss new pain medication - I’ve exhausted the options over the last 6 years but have now been told to stop everything and take one tramadol at night as well as paracetamol and ibuprofen. I explained that the paracetamol & ibuprofen

The scary chronic pains-anxiety-depression-chronic pains cyle
Hello, So I joined a week ago and I've been hesitant to post anything, though I did receive a few "welcome" messages. I didn't have a good experience with anxiety/chronic health group on facebook and I was recommended to try this site. So, are there any of you who suffer from multiple chronic health

Endo referral
Hi I've been going through a diagnosis for about 12 months and I was about to be referred to the gynaecologist but my GP wants me to try some treatments first such as painkillers or hormones. I was on the pill when I was 17 for a few years and I didn't get on with it and I really don't want to go back

Daily Readings
I recently brought an O2 meter to add to my toys (gadgets). Anyway I have taken my readings and they are:- BP 117/65, O2 99%, HR 54 and BG (blood glucose) 8.7 The only one I am slightly unhappy with is BG but I had a very disturbed night with phantom pain needing to take extra painkillers (Oxycodone
