PFT PRE & POST NUMBERS
Regarding transplant consideration, what fev1 numbers are considered the most important in the PFT testing. The numbered results before having taken the inhaled medication, or the fev1 result after taking the inhaler?

Struggling with Covid and asthma.
Update: 02/02/21 Hubby and I finally well enough to leave hospital to continue our recovery. It's going to be a long haul as we both have on going issues due to Covid. Thank you for the well wishes. Home at last after 10 days in hospital. Can't fault the care we received throughout. Update: 29/01/21

Insulin Question for Type 2 Diabetes
Has anyone tried the insulin powder? I saw an article on Twitter and Better India today, looks promising for Type 2.

WILL IT GET EASIER?!
Honestly just finished W1R3 and my feet and knees kill. Let alone the breathing while running. I have asthma and have found the minute I get home I need my inhaler for a good 10 minutes does it get easier?

Where can I get old inhalers from?
Hello, I need large numbers of used inhalers and pacers. I 'm planning to do an art installation linking children's health to air pollution. Do you have any advice as to where I can get them from? Do you have a stash you keep meaning to recycle? I will ensure the ones I have will be recycled after the

Overlooked for vaccine, apparently not vulnerable !
My husband has eosinophilic asthma, takes fostair 200/6, montelukast, flixonaise and more. He has just finished a course of prednisone. He went to Dr last week and asked about vaccine and was told that because he hasn't had a hospital admission in the past 3 months he wasn't classed as severe so

Chronic lung pain but few other signs
I'm new to this thread, and have asthma-COPD which was diagnosed in Jan 2020. I have this weird chronic pain in my lower left lung; in exactly the same place I had it three years ago after a bout of pnemonia. (It lasted for nearly a year, and was described as neuropthic pain.) Now I've had it again

Long-term side effects from inhaled steroids and various asthma pumps
I've been on inhaled steroids high'ish dose for over 20 years and often wonder if the thin skin, broken vessels, easy bruising, poor vision etc is part of getting older (and possibly too much sun) or a side effect from years of chugging on inhaled steroids. I feel like my voice has also taken a hammering

Lung function test -do I stop my inhaler?
Hello, I had COVID in March last year which has left me with a few issues including possible asthma. Ive been taking flutiform 125/5 x2 twice a day since September. I have a hospital appointment for lung function tests on Friday. Do I stop or reduce the inhaler for a period beforehand? Thanks in advance

Re-started
I did C25k two years ago and got to running 8-10 relatively regularly, including a gorgeous trot with @Oldfloss in Criccieth and a crazy parkrun on Pwhellii beach accompanied by the Cats and Kittens. My running frequency tailed right off after a particularly bad experience at a large race event that

Fostair side affects?
I’m 21 and I’ve been taking fostair 100/6 4 puffs a day for about 5 months now, and at first I had the usual side affects - hand shaking, headaches and slight nausea, but they subsided mostly (still get hand shaking) after about a month and the inhaler has made a massive difference to my asthma. But
