Fostair 200/6
I have been on Fostair 200/6 for about three months now, but find that I am continually coughing which I have never done with any other inhaler. Does anyone else have this problem?

Oxidative Stress (ROS), Sleep and the Gut Microbiome: Staying Alive
I am just back from a challenging (humbling) multiday backpack in the High Sierras of California. Very beautiful but drought conditions, dry stream water sources made it more difficult. Here is a pre-note on my own regimen: After completing my two phase radiation treatments for oligometastatic PC:

My asthma has been very unsettled this past few days. Usually fairly well controlled on Fostair, Qvar and Tiotropium. However, woken up wheezy/coughing last 4 nights, and had a few attacks during the daytime. Increased inhalers as per plan, and using spacer for salbutamol but want some advice on what

Thrush from Steroid Inhalers
Hi, I’ve recently been moved over to the MART regime and I’m using the fostair powder inhaler. I always rinse with water after I use the inhaler but I still have a bad case of thrush on my tongue, which has a white coating and it causing loss of taste. I went to the pharmacy and have been given daktarin

Seretide 250
I use my Seretide inhaler twice a day and just carry a bricanyl inhaler as an emergency one while I am out. This works well for me and has done for the past 10+ yrs. I find the powder one which does not blast the medicine into the back of your throat is a big advantage. If I am ill and strugling with

Fostair makes me cough
Hi, I was prescribed Fostair a few months ago, never having had a combination inhaler before. It was fine for a while but then I started coughing all day long. I read that this might be a side effect of Fostair so I stopped taking it and now the coughing isn’t so bad. However, there was a period of cold

I feel like a fraud.
Hi everyone, I am new to this group and hoping someone can help me come to terms with my Asthma. I was diagnosed with Adult Onset Asthma about 6 months ago after suffering with breathlessness for probably a few years before seeking help from my GP. Gradually over the years my breathing difficulties

Spiriva disposal
Hi all. Just finished my first Spiriva Respimat cartridge, and realised there are no instructions for disposal. So, what do you do with yours? Bin/back to pharmacy/to an inhaler recycling point? They’re different from normal inhalers, with the plastic on the bottom, so I’m stumped!

Can anyone recommend a cooler bag for travelling with Interferon in the tropics?
We are off on a family trip to Costa Rica and are going to be spending a fair amount of time on buses. Can anyone recommend a lightweight method to keep my syringes cool? I’m taking 4 x 135mg syringes - only little! I was looking at Frio bags for insulin but they only maintain temperatures between 18
