Might be wise to see your gp may need a different inhaler. I have been on Fostair for about a year with no problems. Have read of other people having probke9 take care x
I had lots of side effects from Fostair (and unfortunately no benefits) including those you mention: terrible headaches, night sweats and more insomnia than usual. Some people find Fostair really helps them while others find it does nothing for them and the side effects are horrendous. It seems to affect people quite differently, both positively and negatively. I guess you need to weigh up if the advantages outweigh the side effects.
Many thanks for reply yes stopped taking last night , after reading on here , it did work but the side effects not worth it , I was getting worried as thought was getting a brain tumar , as never really been one for headaches , how long I wonder before the headaches stop now , how long the drug stays in system a few days maybe
When I stopped taking Fostair my health started to improve almost immediately, though by then I'd become so ill that I was given steroids, so that could also have helped my rapid improvement. If you don't start to feel better in the next day or so, maybe try to see your doctor, incase the symptoms are just coincidental. That's if you can get an appointment in these strange times. I hope you'll start to feel better very soon.
I used Forstair for about 3 years. I had no side-effects but I found it did not work well. If you find it is giving you headaches then it is worth asking for the GP to change your inhaler.
I have been taking Fostair for about 5 months now, at first I was getting all sorts of side effects now I just get sinus problems and the occasional headaches. I am hopping it is starting to settle down.
