Fostair.
has anyone on Fostair found that they have a sore tongue all the time despite washing my mouth out after. I’ve had this a long time now. With lockdown and everything I didn’t like to bother the Drs with a petty sore tongue. I spoke to the Dentist and I spoke to the Chemist and they both said to speak

Could this be asthma? PFT results
23F, 123lbs, 10 years daily smoking marijuana. For 3 years I've had chronic daily phlegm - like hocking up a loogie. I started getting chest pains and some shortness of breath after quitting smoking 2 months ago. I have been on Flovent inhaler for 2 months but nothing before this. My PFT seems indicative

Help hypoxia asthma?
hi 2.5 weeks ago i went into hospital for pre arranged spinal surgery, that went fine but ended up poorly and in icu straight after, then the respiratory ward for 10 days. Asthma/ILO (also known as Vocal Chord Dysfunction) and Post Covid Breathing
Hi, I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 15, so over 23 years ago. I have always had an atypical presentation with more of a cough than a wheeze. My asthma has started to get worse over the past three or four years, with massive exacerbations since I had Covid in January. I have had three hospital

Incruse Ellipta 55 (umeclidinium bromide)
I have a question about the Incruse Ellipta inhaler. It was written for me for the treatment of asthma, I read the leaflet and it says it is intended for the treatment of COPD. It worried me because I have asthma and not COPD. Have any of you been prescribed this asthma inhaler? Thanks for all the

keeping inhalers at the correct temperature
Please can you tell me how you keep your inhalers at the correct temperature. The inhalers I am on are fostair, salbutamol and titropium. None of them should be stored above 25 degrees but can't seem to get the temperature down in the house yet after the very hot weather. How do you all manage

Nebulising Salbutamol
I have “very severe COPD”. I use Trimbow, which does help, Carbosistene and an Aerobika device. However, I use far too much Salbutamol (currently 3 inhalers per month) and have developed a pretty severe tremor in my left hand. I can really struggle with clearing my chest, even though I keep well hydrated

Hi, does any one on this forum experience breathing problems because of neighbours scented products? Our neighbour's bathroom window is unusually close to our home, I have problems with a fragrance when their window is open that smells strongly to me, and affects my breathing to the point I have

thank goodness for pharmacists!
I am lucky enough to be going away for 3 months from August for a once in a lifetime trip. Planning ahead I asked my GP for 3 months asthma and osteoporosis medication from August. The Fostair 200 inhaler is a restricted item in my CCG, ( only one a month), so I was delighted that this didn’t seem to

I just wondered if anyone has had any issue with the newly branded Fostair inhalers? Got mine last week and had issues ever since. Is there anything different in them or is it just a coincide that my asthma is worse?

I have to use an inhaler but it contains ethanol, is this safe for my liver, bearing in mind that I have alcohol related liver disease.

Now I am scared.....
Hello - I was reading a post on Facebook and there was a reference to a wicked condition called Calciphyaxis. It affects some ESRD patients and is quite prevalent in type 2 patients who inject with insulin - caused by the needle going in. Thats me. I wish I had never seen that post because it has scared

Was called in by the asthma nurse for a review this morning. She listened to my chest and said she could hear a couple of crackles and that I had a chest infection and gave me antibiotics - about the 5th course in 8 weeks. What? I saw the doctor only 4 days ago who said it was as clear as a bell!

Help on side effects
Hi there everyone, I was diagnosed with COPD 14 years ago . I have been taking inhalers ever since. In my younger days I was taken off the birth pill due to raised blood pressure, since which time my blood pressure has been treated with varied drugs on and off. Recently I was asked if I would agree
