Hello kind lung people!!
I thought I'd drop in for a bit. I am now on trimbow inhaler and although I am not up skipping and jumping it has made a difference. What holds me together is staminer . Like walking to the shop and it feeling like the last push to the summit on eEverest. Just like trying to make my heart beat go over

Has anyone tried methyl cobalamin for injection from India, japan and Malaysia?
In these countries methylcobalamine is sold in supermarket. Indian methylcobalamine is so cheap and look like they have proper certificates for quality assurance. In the meantime there are some facilitators for continuous delivery of hydroxocobalamin which are so cheap and work like insulin pump work

Kidney Biopsy
Hello - thank you for all your kind posts reassuring me that I will be okay. Problem is I do not get to see the nephrologist until the 28th of March and every day is like living in hell because of waiting. I am not sure what he will recommend for me but the biopsy was mentioned unless a cause could be

"Perspective"
In my "darker" moments, I often remind myself of something years ago that SNAPPED me out of self-pity. It was a Very profound moment for me. I was almost home from a doctor's appointment, wallowing in sorrow, crying, and angry about the life I had before cancer, and then a spinal cord injury which

Lung reduction.
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I got diagnosed with COPD by my GP last October after a chest x-ray. GP referred me to the lung medicine clinic, luckily got an appointment in January. My fev1 was 19% which explained why I was struggling. I didn't get to see my consultant at the appointment unfortunately. Prescribed

Excessive Yawning and Low Blood O2 using Forstair
I have been taking Forstair 200/6 for over 3 years and suffer from Low blood O2 at night. I also excessively yawn when my blood O2 goes low which appears to be 30 minutes after taking the inhaler. Does anyone else get these symptoms?

Anxiety About Being Rejected
I don't understand who I am anymore. I used to be confident; a Leader that people counted on; proud of myself. Something has "changed me". Negative experiences in the past year or so just stay in the forefront of my mind. It started a year ago, when my brother, whom I was very close with, started

Relvar step down
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has experience of stepping down from lower dose Relvar (92/22) and am interested in what they were prescribed as an alternative please? This is complicated by the fact that my daughter ( who I’m writing on behalf) is 17 yrs old so can’t have certain meds until she’s

Is this the start of a flare??
I am new to my diagnosis, but not new to this feeling (I have felt like this several times over the years when I overdo things). This week was so stressful and busy at work. I started feeling more tired than usual around Wednesday. This morning it is like I am coming down with the flu - so exhausted

steroid inhaler and cataracts
Had an appointment with consultant who says I have cataracts. He reckons inhaled steroid use can cause this condition. Not heard of this side effect in all the years I have been using them . Is he right?

Fexofenadine Side Effects
Hi, after speaking with a pharmacist yesterday they suggested switching from Acrivastine antihistamines to Fexofenadine for my hay fever. I took one last night and I’m really struggling with sleep tonight and was wondering if that was a side effect of the Fexofenadine? Has anyone else experienced this

Hello, can anyone help please? My doctor has moved me from a symbicort 100/6, one puff twice a day to Clenil Modulite, one puff twice a day. Has anyone has had a similar change and if so, what are the pros and cons please?

Update to “Inhaler”
I managed to get a face-to-face appointment with a doctor yesterday but unfortunately other events changed the outcome. As I’ve detailed in my Profile I also have an autoimmune illness and, due to a type of flare, I’d had to increase my steroids (from 6mg of Prednisolone to 60mg per day). I seemed to
