always had very mild asthma, just flare ups with colds. I had mild Covid about 5 weeks ago and since then I seem to be wheezing/coughing constantly, but fine during sleep!Ventolin doesn't seem to help as well as I'm used to. I've ordered a qvar inhaler to see if that will help. Can't ge a face to face appointment with asthma nurse or GP . I waited 10 days for a telephone consultation but just turned out to be pharmacist! Started to get really down out it and feel like a can't get help.

Are you in the UK? If so, phone 111 for help. They seem to be the main triage service these days and can contact GP for you.
