Flu Jab
I have never had a flu jab though I have been eligible for a few years. I wasn't convinced they helped and had seen lots of people become ill after them. I hate medication and tend to avoid it if possible. However, with IPF I am under a lot of pressure to have the jab. I did have a chest infection last

I’m back !
Still not quite 100 percent after the evil flu jab, but well enough to manage 2:2 😀 Man, it’s cold out there !

Flu Jab
Evening all Saw my GP the other day and she said it would be a good idea to have my flu jab there and then, so I had it. Few days later I feel like sh*t, blocked nose, cough, generally feeling so much worse than before. Is it possible to get the flu or flu-like symptoms after you've had it? Oh and I

Flu Jab?
So just been to my GP who has put me on a course of steroids after that nasty cough/cold bug doing the rounds has hit and I haven’t been able to shake off for the last two weeks and as a consequence has set my so called seasonal asthma off! So been back on my Clenil Modulite as it hit my breathing straight

Latest update from Rienij,
Dear friends thank you for your support over the last three month. It certainly has been turbulent. But today I finally escaped from the hospital. Have now been in hospital of the trust. 4 hospitals in all. Enough is enough. Back home having carers coming in 4 x a day. Hopefully that will work nicely

PMR symptoms. Seronegative RA diagnosis.
Hi all! I'm a 61yr old female, living in the states. This is my first post. I've been having debilitating pain and stiffness since September 2018. At first, I didn't know what was happening to me. I went from walking 5 miles a day to barely being able to get out of bed. My sister sent me an article

Lumps and bruising
Hi guys, Do any of you develop swelling after you bump or knock yourself? I know that’s normal but I’ve recently been getting swelling the size of snooker balls, well half a snooker ball. I’ve also noticed my eyesight in one eye is a little blurred and I have the chest pains that I often get every now

CLL, Bladder Cancer and BCG coming up for me
I've been on Ibrutinib for about 1 year, diagnosed in 2009, first round of chemo in 2012 at Duke Med on a clinical trial stopped because of extreme hemolytic reaction. Chemo infusions again in 2015, worked for a couple of years. Started Ibrutinib in April 2018. Prostate resection in D3cemer 2018.

Flu Jab?
Has anyone had their flu jab? I Had mine early on Friday and have been coughing and using Ventolin ever since. I was doing so well! Of course they say it’s just a coincidence, I wondered how many others have ‘coincidentally’ had an Asthma problem a few hours after their jab? I realise that catching

Flu Jab
My doctor strongly recommended the flu jab, that's the NHS guidelines and it's free for anyone with a heart condition. He said flu can be a really serious problem, with a much heightened risk of fatality, for anyone with a heart problem. I had the jab yesterday from the nurse at the doctor's practise

Now what do I do?
Advice please! I graduated in the summer feeling very smug. Started on retirement at 65 having never ever run, but made it and could do 5k in 36 minutes. Blood pressure down from borderline needing medication to completely normal and puffy ankles vanished! Smug is an understatement! However, I have
