Flu Jab?

Has anyone had their flu jab? I Had mine early on Friday and have been coughing and using Ventolin ever since.

I was doing so well!

Of course they say it’s just a coincidence, I wondered how many others have ‘coincidentally’ had an Asthma problem a few hours after their jab?

I realise that catching the flu will only give me more of a problem with Asthma, but why don’t they just tell us that the jab might also cause a problem for a couple of days?

Next time I’ll make sure I have a week free of any appointments, just in case!

For the last 4 or 5 years I have had a difficult time following the flu jab. Usually lasting a few weeks, I need to increase my Ventolin use to frequent too.

Hi Bucketlist, i have had asthma all my life since 5 years old and I have never had the flu jab. As regards the ventolin inhaler, it does nothing for me. I take Revlar Ellipta since April and if i feel chesty i take Atrovent or a combivent nebuliser if I am really bad. I should point out that my asthma is weather and anxiety related so I although sometimes I feel I am a bad asthmatic compared to other people I am good. Sorry I cant be any more helpful ☹
