doctors reply
I am having a battle with my doctor. I have b12 deficiency and have physical and neurological symptoms. At first i was offered b12 tablets (150mcg a day) but I convinced the Dr to give me loading doses. She prescribed 3 loading doses over 2 weeks of b12 serum. I said no I want the NICE recommendation

Update to 'help with blood test results please'. More help needed!!
Thanks for the advice! I have posted the blood test results again, just for reference. I saw a gastroenterologist for anaemia, who was about as much use as a chocolate teapot! Told me I wasn't very anaemic and to take a different form of iron tablet. Said that the B12, THS, and 'other thyroid bits' were

Change in Medication?
Hi, I started taking 50mg Levothyroxine in April 2019, had a few blood tests since then. As I’ve been taking meds for 2 months I thought it would be a good idea to check my levels again. Recent results are below. My TSH is decreasing whilst Free T3 and Free T4 are increasing which is good news. My

Doctors refusing to listen
Hi everyone, I made a post recently about my issues and waiting for my intrinsic factor test to come back and thought I would make the updated info into a new post. The intrinsic factor test came back negative (0) and I have now spoken to two doctors over the phone and my hematologist who say I don't

B12 levels 6 months after loading injections

Vitamin Brands and doses
Good evening! I’m looking to switch up my vitamins and supplement regimen and change some brands about. I’m currently taking cytoplan B12 as methylcobalamin and adensosylcobalamin which I’m happy with. I’d like to add in a good vitamin D. I’ve read it’s best taken with vitamin K and calcium? Could anyone

Ringing in ears
I have tinnitus, meniers disease, twitching nerve ends. Asked my GP for B12 Active blood test, reply B12 fine. Already take a B12 Complex. Heard and read about B12 active so ordered online - delivery tomorrow so we will see if it helps.

New Blood Labs after adding Liothyronine - TSH looks better but Ferritin levels low. Have symptoms of low Ferritin but Iron is OK.
Thank you in advance to everyone who recommended I get my Ferritin, Iron, etc checked as well as TSH labs. I had to pay out of pocket (I'm in the US). 3 weeks after adding 2.5 mcg of Liothyronine to my 75mcg Synthroid my TSH levels improved. Below are my levels prior to adding 2.5 mcg of T3 and after

Waiting on blood tests for PA. Does this sound like anyones experience?
Hi everyone! I am a 22 year old woman who is currently waiting on results for an intrinsic factor blood test (and due to how uncomfortable I am it feels like its taking a lifetime!) but I wondered if I could ask if my experience sounds like anyone else so that I am as prepared with info as possible?

Low Iron - Are my symptoms normal?
From the end of November last year, until the first week of January this year I was experiencing a weird feeling of dizziness, and generally feeling ‘out of it’. I went to my doctor, and they diagnosed an inner ear infection as they weren’t 100% sure, which required no treatment. My symptoms disappeared
