Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate Iron by Albion better absorption?

I am beginning to supplement my iron because of low Ferritin levels by Functional Dr who gave me a liquid iron with Vitamin C for better absorption. However, still have to space it out between supplements, calcium, etc. Does anyone know or have used Ferrochel - Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelated Iron which is supposed to have better absorption and does not interact with other nutrients I called the maker of Ferrochel, Albion, as well as supplement companies that use it in particular iron supplements like Vitacost and Blue Bonnet. Of course I was told to ask pharmacist, drs, etc. Has anyone out there used this particular iron supplement? And if so, does one still have to wait 1 hour after having coffee, milk, calcium or 4 hours before taking other supplements? Thanks!

Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelated Iron which is supposed to have better absorption and does not interact with other nutrients

As far as I am aware, iron is iron whichever form it is in and the Albion iron is meant to be less constipating (I took it for a while, I was still constipated - but that's another story!) and still needs to be taken 4 hours away from thyroid meds and 2 hours away from other supplements and medication as it will affect absorption just like any other form of iron.

I occasionally take a whole food iron (made from just vegetables and fruit) and I still keep that away from other supplements and milk and my thyroid meds.

Thank you, so much. I guess for now I will continue with Genestra Liquid Iron which my functional dr sold me....I called the company that makes it and one only has to wait an hour away from calcium, supplements, spinach, milk, etc.
