Do Hasimotoes and B12 deficiency tend to go hand in hand?
I have was diagnosed with Hasimotoes about 5 years ago. My husband is B12 deficient (I'm not sure if its auto immune or not) and he's on been on 12 weekly B12 injections for years but getting more poorly so now self injecting. I'm starting to think I may also have B12 deficiency so have been self injecting

B12 article in Waitrose Food magazine
Hi, The January edition of Waitrose Food magazine has an article about B12. The article mentioned that Folic acid treatment can mask symptoms of B12 deficiency and that there are other causes of B12 deficiency besides diet eg PA, Crohn's disease and PPI drugs. Just wondered whether other forum members

Ménières disease due to b12 and D deficiency?
Hi , Is it possible that our vitamin deficiency can trigger Ménière disease? I was just searching for symptoms online and they were kind of matching. Dizziness, vertigo kind of feeling , Tinnitus in one ear.

Opinion on test results (B12, Folate, D, Iron...)
Hi Can I get an opinion on my blood test results specifically Vitamin B12, Folate, Vitamin D, Iron but there are other test results on there. The first one was private (done in July 19) and the second through GP (done in Oct 19) but GP didn’t test B12. Link to tests: https://imgur.com/1peGK9Y https

Vit b12 deficiency
Hi all, I’ve just discovered I’ve got low vit b12 levels, after going to gp with extreme tiredness and lethargy, which I had put down to the loss of my father. I am about to start the injections and was wondering what I should expect. I’ve read up on side effects of them, and wondering if many people

Can somebody explain these
I have Hashimoto and UAT my TSH is currently surpressed. I have all the symptoms of a b12 deficiency and my numbers have always been in the 200s(200-900) but doctor said all fine even tho I’m not. Anyway I was taking b12 tablets for a few months and stopped in November as I didn’t see any difference.

When and how should I recheck my b12 levels
Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with b12 on Nov 10 th and receiving injections since then. My levels were less than 150. When should I do the retest for b12 to further decide the frequency of b12 . And what should be the gap between blood test and my b12 shot , so that my b12 shot doesn’t skew the results

B12 Functional deficiency
Hi - Please can anyone shed some light on B12 Functional deficiency. My levels are mostly high (around 1400 - 1500), I still have fatigue and weakness. Could this be because of something else.

Restless legs
Does anyone else suffer from restless legs? I’ve had this issue since before I found I had B12 deficiency and I don’t know if it’s connected. I have vitamin D deficiency too, no idea whether that’s relevant either.
