14 Studies from the 1950s about T3-Only for All Sorts of Chronic Issues
These studies used T3 to benefit everything from mental issues, to gastrointestinal problems, to infertility, to poor performance in school. One study even used T3 with one-year-olds. Pretty remarkable results. I've included links for each study. - Tittle (1956). Effects of 3,5,3’ l-triiodothyronine

#2 Update: Adrenal Testing
This afternoon (12.45) I had the blood draw for: Adrenal auto-antibodies, Aldosterone, Renin, Potassium & Sodium. I've also had a short Synacthen test. Stop The Thyroid Madness (For better, for worse) insist that salt is restricted the day before Aldosterone testing and that the arm is held at a perpendicular

chronic diarrhea
Under doctor’s care, I’ve taken
Imodium
, which helps on a temporary basis. I eat a healthy diet and avoid fried food, etc. I follow doctor’s orders. Has anyone else had this problem? What causes the diarrhea? What helped you? How do you cope when out of your living quarters ?

#1: The Start
Following the example of Clarebear I've decided to document my thyroid-adrenal journey on here in hopes it'll keep me accountable, and also may serve some after me. After a long, complicated history of no diagnosis, followed by lithium treatment, then prolonged time spent on T4 with no improvement,

potassium level
I recently had bloodwork done. My sodium is at very bottom of range.( 135) it always has been. My potassium is 3.7 with a range of 3.5-5.5. I have tended to be around 4 or a tad higher. A year ago I was 3.8. I have been injecting every 3 weeks for a year and a half. Do I need more potassium? I know it

Has any hypothyroidism or Hashimotos patient tried apillean weight loss supplement?
It can cost £50 to £100 per small tub in some places but it's selling but you can make this yourself at home. Alternatively according to this female doctor I spoke to at pub She said"You can use coffee instead of guarana, you can use nori seaweed if tolerated or kelp or tiny amount of wakame or if

Salt - serum sodium
I have just had my two monthly blood test. Whilst my ESR and CRP are within the normal range my serum sodium is 130mmol/L. (133 - 146.00mmol/L). It has been like this for the past year or so and everyone has ignored it 'til now. I am not one for pills unless I really need them like prednisolone. Can

Hello all, just wondering if anyone would know if a slightly low Sodium Level in your Blood can contribute to triggering an AF attack, thank you. John

Anyone experience ectopics(Extra beats) with pain when anxious, stressed or intake stimulants? or is it just me?
I noticed that when I'm stressed or anxious, or have had sodium or coffee(even decaf) as too much of that even since it contains some caffeine..I get ecopics but mine are NOT skipped beats but extra beats and they are sometimes less noticeable, then some are more noticable and then some are painful..

Thoughts on taking Imodium daily
IBS and
Imodium
. First post here. Does anyone take
Imodium
(loperamide) on a daily basis? My GP said he has patients who take up to 8 a day. This seems extreme to me,I worry about taking 2 a day.

3 weeks into disimpaction but can’t get to thinner stools than gravy
My two year old is on the disimpaction regime and we’re now three weeks in. Done all the correct macrogol doses and still on 8 per day since day 7 (now day 21) and for the last two nights we’ve added one evening dose of 2.5ml Of sodium Pico. Still just gravy stools consistently. Do we keep going? Up

Low Sodium Bread SEARCH
Found a bread machine on facebook marketplace for $25, almost new and am trying recipes with no salt. So far it is good toasted, but not very good for sandwiches (which I eat open face). But there are some really good herbal version that are tasty. So, I am trying to find my favorite recipe. No idea

Severely constipated what next?
I've been slightly constipated for weeks until 8 days ago . Then I just stopped. Been in severe pain since and tried every laxative. Been to doctors and she put me on docusate sodium. Now I'm on molaxole powder and having 8 sachets in 6 hours for faecal impaction. Still nothing at all. I'm in pain now

Looking for low sodium bread.
In Oregon we have bread (keto) with less sodium, but the other night I read post from someone that eats low or no sodium bread they buy at store or on-line. Can't remember name brand or where they buy it. Can someone let me know if they've found this and where? Thanks
