My serum sodium is 137 mmol/L. Completely in normal range (133-146). I am taking spironolactone 300mg and furosemide 80mg. My question is how much do I need to restrict fluid intake for ascites due to cirrhosis?

Anti seizure tablets after brain haemorage
My wife has had a brain haemorage which after 12 months has resulted in her having some bad seizures. Need faster research on Neuro-modulation
I attended 2 various zoom meets of Vibratory Neuro-modulation . In UK they have a CUE1 available at less than 500 dollars that is showing some amazing strides for some people. Then I watched a zoom with Dr Peter Tass who is a researcher involved with the amazing Vibratory Gloves. My wife was a participant

MCT Oil
in another thread someone posted today about MCT oil. I hadn’t heard of this and have tried to research it. It seems to be useful in a variety of situations and claims include support in weight gain, increased energy, constipation t and pain relief. Really it sounds a bit of a ‘cure all’. I’m wondering

Using Lactulose long term
Does anyone know if it is safe to use Lactulose long term? I have IBS-C and have tried all the other remedies such as kiwis, psyllium, prunes ,linseeds, chia seeds and I drink plenty of water but find they either don’t work or give me terrible griping pains. Although I’d prefer to take a natural product

GP’s and meds (Losartan and Lercanadipine) !!
I despair! the surgery advised me on Monday that they thought the Losartan was causing a decrease in my sodium level (127). They suggested I try Lercanadipine instead. I took the first one this morning and my pulse rate went mad all morning and my BP dropped quite a bit. I contacted the surgery &

Kidneys affected by Hydroxyurea?
Was admitted to hospital last week due to severely low sodium levels and creatinine levels were way off normal. Admitting diagnosis was acute kidney failure. Nephrologists were not sure what was causing the change in my kidney’s health. They wondered if the Hydroxyurea could be playing a part

Encouraged but a little confused about UKELD
Apologies for the long post but I just had a reply to my queries about recent blood tests because I didn't have all the test numbers in my consultant letter to my GP in order to calculate MELD / UKELD. He wrote this which I was mostly encouraged by but also a little puzzled - how is EVERYONE 49 on UKELD

blood pressure meds and low sodium
back on here again following my last blood results to see how the Losartan (for BP) is affecting me - or not. (I’ve been on it since the last week in January) I feel quite happy & well being on this low dosage of 25mg and my BP is now in the normal range. However: isn’t there always a “However
