Thank you for the vitamins advice
Hi everyone I thought I’d post today to say thank you for all of the wonderful advice you provided in the last few years. I have been feeling well for almost a year now but I stupidly took my eye off the ball a couple of weeks ago. I ran out of B12 and forgot to buy more. All of my symptoms have

Don't know What's happening to me!!
Doc recommended 2 x Amytryptyline in Feb., after it was discovered I had 2 x damaged discs in my lower back. Referred me to Physio, (appt. on 22nd!)I was OK for a couple of months, then started to feel dizzy, lost my appetite and taste, everything tastes sweet!, even a roast dinner. Went to see ACP

These are my new results and whilst my T3 is excellent do you think my T4 should come up a bit? I feel really tired most of the time but I am thinking this may have something to do with my vitamin results 🙄. In lots of ways I feel much better in myself, just need to work on my vitamins. I have struggled

Jak2 test it's been 11 days and no results yet.. I'm stressed the hell out...
So my red blood cells elevated 5.64, hemoglobin 16.0 and my hemocrit 49.6.Epo was normal my blood smear only says final Diagnosis polycythemia which I assume is secondary. So I got grandparents and cousins who had leukimia.. Plus I have factor 5 leiden and am on blood thinners... So I don't take

Latest blood test advice please I moved to 75mcg after taking bloods but now I’m not sure it’s a good idea.
Hi all I’ve been on 50mcg Levothyroxine now for around 7 weeks ish and I tested Monday privately. I increased my dose to 75mcg thinking I needed it but my TSH has come back as 1.35 which was a bit of a shock I was still expecting it to be in the 3’s. My T4 looks to be at around 50% while my T3 is around

Am I going mad?
Hi! I've had so much helpful information from this forum and made copious notes over the last few weeks, I was determined I could get by without asking for help, but no. I'm so upset, after what I've decided is my last visit to the GP as I'm fed up of being fobbed off and coming out like a gibbering

Subclinical hypothyroid and PCOS
Asking on behalf of my 20yo daughter. She recently had a battery of blood tests via an endocrinologist, triggered as a result of massive fatigue, hair thinning, dry skin and very rapid weight gain (20kg in a year even when eating fairly healthily). She was diagnosed with PCOS and her TSH is highish

Disappointed
I have just returned from a GP appointment to discuss my B12 deficiency and acute gastritis. I waited 7 weeks for this appointment but it’s been of absolutely no help and I feel so crushed. I have Hashimotos, vitiligo and lichen planus and 3 years ago I had major bowel surgery resulting in the removal

Help with results
I feel not quite right (which could be the menopause). I have auto immune thyroid disease and am on levo 125 x 6 days, 1 day 100. I was diagnosed about 5 years ago and gradually increased my dose to the level it is on today. I take a B complex tablet, 25mg vitamin D and 25mg K2 daily. I'm wondering

B12 loading doses and stomach pain; also 10mg melatonin OK to take on loading doses?
Hello, My daughter's had her first of 6 EOD loading doses, next one tomorrow. First was last Friday. My current line of thinking is that she has inherited a degree of autism from her dad, but also has b12 d, possibly PA (neg IFAB). She's complained since the first dose of stomach pain (gluten free

High Prolactin Result
Results for Free T4 been in the region of 11 and updated THS is 3.2 mu/L. I asked the doctor whether low T4 could suggest pituitary issue and was told indefinitely no. Menopause was blamed for all the symptoms I’ve been getting and told to basically get on with it. Did my own Prolactin test as I
