Hi all HMY! I have been on T3 for about 8 years very successfully and VERY happy on 20mg daily T3 and 150mcg thyroxine. I felt great. Whichever endo I see private or nhs has told me despite feeling well that I am over medicated as my TSH is 0.01 and I need to reduce my T3. I have always refused

Looking for advice for my daughter.
Hi it's me again but this time I'm looking for advice for my daughter who has had Hypothyroidism since a teenager. Now 45. I've told her she needs to increase her thyroxine but thought I would ask the experts. They have never tested her T4 or T3. Her vitamins were tested last in October 2022 which

My response to WinnieThePoo.

Possible over treatment with Levothyroxine
Hi everyone, I’m new to the site. It was suggested that I make a post following a comment I made replying to another post as I may benefit from some guidance on my current treatment. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid 9 years ago. I have been treated with Levothyroxine throughout. Since 2020

interpreting results
Hi everyone, I’ve recently ordered a blood test to check my TSH, T4 and T3 levels. I’m also having my antibodies, ferritin, vit D, B12 and folate checked aswell. I’m fine interpreting the results of the vitamins and minerals, and I also understand that the higher the TSH the more underactive you are

best foods to eat after ibs d flare
I’ve suffered from ibs for years and have been well controlled. Have never needed to do FODMAP as yet as know triggers. Anyway I’ve had the worst flare ever in last 5 days and no improvement. Constant diarrhoea. Everything just going straight through. Imodium helps but I need to start trying to eat

Switch diet to Vegetarian - save your kidneys
Please kidney patients switch your diet to plant based. I did and it saved me from dialysis. Look up Dadvice on faecbok, Jen Hernandez a dietician who worked in Dialysis patients who now promotes a plant based diet (vegetarian). You can type in Jen Hernandez as a search. Another source has a program
