Scans last week, in a holding pattern😬
He has not been able to have any
immunotherapy
treatments for over 3 months because it was attacking his stomach and esophagus, and the Dr said he didn’t want it to attack his heart. 😩. The Dr. said we are going to be in a holding pattern.

Keytruda clinical trial
I don't think it is working, asked doctor about psma or axumin scan, said insurance doesn't pay (we are in NJ) Not sure of cost, he said it could show other mets as more sensitive and that doesn't mean they weren't there before, and doesn't mean the
immunotherapy
not working.

Pembrolizumab and Hypothyroidism
Does anyone have hypothyroidism induced by the
immunotherapy
drug Pembrolizumab? If so are you having any trouble getting your TSH and T4 levels into the normal range? My TSH was 66.88 in January. Early May it was down to 17.75 but has leapt up again to 29.86 and I can’t figure out why?

Levothyroxine stiffness
I'm on
Immunotherapy
for Melanoma which has caused my thyroid to be interactive and my Doctors have put me on Levothyroxine 50mcg. Was due yesterday 29th May to have more treatment but it was cancelled because my thyroid level is 12.8.

Novel agent reactivates an immune call by LIF blockadePromising new therapy with a dual mechanism of action to eliminate cancer stem cells
"Once the T cells infiltrate the tumors, they are activated by anti-PD1

Immunotherapy
Has anybody ever used
immunotherapy
? I really don't know much about it but was wondering. Maybe it's not even used for breast cancer.

Treatments after Immunotherapy
Now I am without treatment and my doctors propose Axitinib or participate in a trial of Votrient, which is not yet approved for the use of patients who have done
immunotherapy
. Is anyone in one of these programs? Has anyone used Axitinib and Votrient and which of them has been more toxic?

Stage 4 NSCLC with metatasis to brain
As this is stage 4 it’s non treatable but they suggest radiotherapy to the whole brain And then
immunotherapy
to the lung. We have been told they have limited time. With the side effects of radiotherapy do these outweigh the extra time it offers?
