Ugh I want to go to the hospital but I don't!
I went down from 3 mg of Xanax a day to 2 mg and my
Imipramine
was doubled a week ago. I just feel sick and awful. And I have this weird iron taste in my mouth.

Imipramine and restless leg syndrome
I have been taking
imipramine
for quite a few years now. It doesn't seem as effective as it did when I first started taking it. Does anyone else take
imipramine
for Rls? My mum suffers also but she has been prescribed gabapentin.

Why we need to share All Data from clinical trials
Known as Study 329, the randomised controlled trial compared paroxetine (Paxil, Seroxat, Aropax, among other brand names) with a placebo and an older antidepressant (
imipramine
) for treatment of adolescent depression.

Twitches & Fybromyalgia?
Only change to meds has been an increase in
imipramine
by 25mg to 75mg per day and the addition of tramadol for pain. Also, does anyone have any experience with getting a blue badge? Some days I struggle to walk but not sure if fibromyalgia qualifies you for this?

Due to mention of 'Thyroid' - Professor Graham Hughes November 2014 Blog
A new drug was tried –Tri-
imipramine
– but this made her mouth and eyes very dry and was stopped. Then came the ‘Eureka’ moment. Her sister, Jill, who lived in Scotland, came to stay. Jill had been diagnosed recently with Hughes syndrome and was doing well on aspirin. The symptoms were similar.

Imipramine?? anyone on it for IBS and noticed side effects??
He has given me
imipramine
to take to help the diahorrea. Since taking it last week I have noticed extreme fatigue during day, lightheadedness, although these were all symptoms I suffered with my IBS (fatigue, dizzy head, low blood pressure).

Suppose it's all about trial & error
Well I'm just back from the doctors getting a second opinion about taking
Imipramine
. Having been off amitriptyline for 19 months I think I'm going to have to give in and go back on meds.

IMIPRAMINE - anyone taken it?
Hi, I posted a question about this drug 3 days ago but only had 2 responses which is unusual. I'm now thinking it must be quite a rare drug to be put on so perhaps I should not go on it unless you've all been hyper busy C/mas shopping.

Many thanks to all who responded to my question
I also have fibromyalgia and the combination of tramadol, gabapentin, and
imipramine
I take for the fibro pain has, on the whole, dealt with the rls until recently when I developed cholecystitis, and since the pain from that has been constant I have had rls in leg/legs/arm/arms/shoulders every night.

Pain management
I have tried the following medicines (plus CBT) without success: mebeverine, colpernin, buscopan, paracetamol, co-codamol, amytriptyline,
imipramine
, oramorph, gabapentin, pre-gabalin (plus a steroid injection into abdominal wall in case it was nerve related-it wasn't).

Prescribing changes for generalist care: Pregabalin, what do you think ?
If amitriptyline* results in satisfactory pain reduction as first-line treatment but the person cannot tolerate the adverse effects, consider oral
imipramine
* or nortriptyline* as an alternative.
