Twitches & Fybromyalgia?

Hi

I've recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia having had classic symptoms for 4 years however been treated for chronic migraine. In the last few weeks I have been aware of an increase in the 'myoclonic' type twitches I am experiencing throughout the day. I have experienced these right from the onset of symptoms but not this severe. Only change to meds has been an increase in imipramine by 25mg to 75mg per day and the addition of tramadol for pain. Also, does anyone have any experience with getting a blue badge? Some days I struggle to walk but not sure if fibromyalgia qualifies you for this? Would be grateful for any advice....

I am so genuinely sorry to read of your Fibro diagnosis and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck. According to NHS Choices both Imipramine and Tramadol can give you muscle spasms but they are rare in Tramadol but very common in Imipramine so it could be beneficial to discuss this with your GP if the symptoms become unbearable.

I have pasted you links below to both medications:

As for a blue badge, I have pasted you a link to the GOV.UK cache on applying for a blue badge.
