All systems go! First IVF round next cycle.. eeeek! :-s Any healthy living prep suggestions or tips would be fab xxx
So after just under a year of tests and appointments, we've had our appointment with the consultant, who has approved for us for an NHS round of
ICSI
(or possible IVF- to be decided after egg retrieval).

NHS waiting lists are a joke!
But now weve had 2 failed rounds of
ICSI
(we paid for privately) and we asked for further investigations as to why OH sperm is not coming out naturally (possible blockage) . To be told we will be referred to a Urologist on the NHS. Waited 5 weeks so far for an appointment.

Advice wanted for post tube removal (salpingectomy) IVF
Me and my husband have been told we need IVF with
ICSI
however before this, I need to have an operation to see if my Fallopian tubes are patent / damaged if they are damaged then they're going to take them out.

Frozen Sperm - IVF or ICSI?
At egg collection I was told that it would be overkill to use
ICSI
but in hind site it makes sense that it was the wrong advise. Surely frozen sperm would not be as strong as fresh sperm. Do you think that
ICSI
should be recommended for all frozen sperm?

6 ampoules of sperm frozen...any good?
We’re due for our first cycle of
ICSI
soon and my husband has had some sperm frozen as a safety batch. Got a letter that said they’ve frozen 6 ampoules...no other info! Has anyone got any idea if this is good? Not sure why EVERYTHING has to be a riddle.

Even slimming world isn’t safe!!
Since our two failed
ICSI
cycles I have been emotional eating for England so thought it was about time I got back on the healthy wagon to prepare myself for round 3 in a few months. So, I joined Slimming World last night not even dreaming that it would be full of pregnant women!!

Jumped in to IVF too soon??
Got fast tracked to Ivf
icsi
because OH signed up to be a sperm donor and they found anti-sperm antibodies. At the time we were hoping to delay starting our own family for a couple of years as assumed we would not have any difficulties and we weren’t ready.

Is there any hope?
So today we had our follow up appointment after another failed round of IVF with
ICSI
. Previously we'd been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. After our 1st and only NHS round failed we had further tests and found my husband had high DNA fragmentation.

First injection tonight, second cycle and hello 👋
Hi everyone, Tonight I have done my first injection of my second
ICSI
cycle. Not quite feeling as excited as the first time, just a mixture of feelings and feeling I need a science degree to mix the medication 😂 We started this journey in Sept 16 (I already knew I would need help to get pregnant).

And so it begins...
Round 3 of IVF+
ICSI
cycle. 12years waiting for that little bundle of joy. This will be our 2nd fresh cycle and we’ve had 1 FET. Trying to be upbeat but all I feel is doom and gloom. Period started today so I guess I need to call the clinic. Praying this will be our time.
