Rant! IVF and Confidentiality at work
We're currently undergoing our first IVF/
ICSI
cycle and when we were referred I was upfront with my boss straight away as I knew how much time off I would be needing. She was really supportive having lost a baby herself and having issues conceiving again afterwards.

DHEA? Thoughts
Hey ladies I'm going to start round 2 of ivf/
ICSI
in September after 1st failed cycle in April. I remember at our follow up fertility doctor saying something about DHEA? But then she went on to say she herself doesn't believe too much into it but there are some studies that it can help egg quality?

Beta Tomorrow - Terrified
This has been our first mild IVF
ICSI
cycle and as we only had 2 embryos fertilized and 1 arrested on day 2. I'm so scared that tomorrow is going to be negative and we have to go through it all over again and I've let so many people down already...

newly pregnant after ICSI, why do I feel so depressed?!
Im 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant which is a miracle against all the odds We only had one shot at IVF as they cant retrieve any more of my husbands sperm and we have extremely lucky to get this far. We have no frozen embryos from our cycle so all energy channelling to this little one. Ive been so upset

EC today: ICSI instead of IVF
Has anyone else had a late change from IVF to
ICSI
and had success or good fertilization results? We only had two out of six fertilise last time so not the best starting point. Thanks ash x

Obstructive Azoospermia question.
For those who have partners with obstructive Azoospermia, apart from sperm retrieval for
ICSI
, has anyone managed to have an operation to unblock the tubes etc leading onto successful natural pregnancy? X

Male infertility
It has a 20% success rate and I’ve read that it’s very unlikely sperm will return to semen if he has azoospermia, though it may improve quality for
ICSI
.

Injections have begun!!
June marked 5 years since the start of our etc journey and June has now marked the start of our first IVF/
ICSI
cycle! I'm on short protocol and went in yesterday for injection teach and our first injection. We've just done today's injection at home (my mum ended up doing it as my partner couldn't!)

Urologist appointment today re: Azoospermia.
Already had 2 failed rounds of
ICSI
. Im very pessimistic about the appointment which i guess is a good thing as i have zero expectations of any positive news and wont be upset if the news is bad! We still have each other. I would say May the 4th be with us lol but i wont 😁😂 X

ICSI FBT planned
Hi all, After a little advice. Early 2015 I underwent a FBT after a failed fresh cycle 5 months previous. As a result of the FBT I am currently looking at my toddler who is growing by the day! We have been to see about having a private FBT using our last frozen blasts. Paid the majority and lined up

Unsuccessful first fresh and frozen transfers - advice for second round
We are looking at starting IVF/
ICSI
(male infertility) round two soon and I am looking for advice as to what we should ask at our follow up appointment and for anyone else who has had similar experiences but went on to have success.

ICSI over IVF
Was told on our consent signing day that the preferred method will be
ICSI
. Has anyone had previous experience with this process and is the chance of success lower than IVF.

Terrified the eggs won’t fertilise.
We are using an egg donor and have spent everything we have this is our only chance so what if they don’t fertilise I’m finding it hard to focus on anything other than the panic of it not working, the nurse said they are using
ICSI
is the best chance but I don’t even know that that really means!

He’s here! (photo warning)
This was our first cycle of IVF (
icsi
) and I feel so grateful and lucky that we have this little miracle at the end of it. I know many of you are still on this journey, and have been for a long time, and I wish you each and every one of you all the very best.
