Period cramps

Hi everyone im on day 1 of taking the pill. Im not sure if i can take mefenamic acid for cramps? Im starting icsi. I think the nurse said not to take any medication once i start injections? If anyone can help answer these i would be grateful as i have awful cramps today.

Hi I don't know the answer, I've never heard of mefenamic acid.. Could you take paracetamol and put a hot water bottle on your belly? I hope you feel better soon x

No anti inflammatory medicines was what I got told which is what mefenic acid is unfortunately. Paracetamol or codine is ok. Hope it settles down.xx
