Hi all! I'm new here so not really sure how this works.
Myself and my partner have been TTC for 3 years, we are at the end of our ICSI journey and find out the weekend if it has worked or not!
I am absolutely petrified of getting the results back and just don't know how I will react. Can anyone ease give me advice on how to relax or even control it a little.
TIA X

Hi there, welcome to the forum. I haven't completed my first cycle yet so no advice on how to help these nerves, just wanted to wish you the best of luck xo
I’m also on my first round of ICSI. I had my BFP a week ago so I’m probably not the best to give advice as I’m only a few days ahead of you! The wait is very long up to OTD and it carries on if you get your BFP. Just take it a day at a time. I found it helpful to have something planned for every day (-even if it was something small like today I’m going shopping for my grandparents.) Doing the test I thought I’d be quite calm but when I got the result I couldn’t stop crying, but I also had a realistic view that this is just another step- we’ve got a long way to go yet! The worry and wait continues!!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that your your journey continues smoothly! Xx
good luck xxx I tried keeping myself busy, walks, painting (paint by numbers) don't laugh not artistic at all but found it relaxing, it does help getting out of the house. xxx
Hello! I wish you good luck from the bottom of my heart. After my first IVF cycle, I had ICSI and failed. I was completely devastated but I'm not going to stop. Hope to get bfp this time.
Hi, masses of luck. During both cycles so far I have used the 'Mindful IVF' meditation app.. they have sessions for each day of the cycle including the 2ww - it really helped me chill - even just for 10 mins each day - and get a more positive head on. Good luck xx
