Acupuncture
I am hopefully starting
ICSI
in a months time subject to bloods, more consents, and drugs being issued in time. My question is, I have read acupuncture should be done for 3 months prior to treatment (I didn’t know it was going to go ahead that’s why I’m late) is it still worthwhile doing now?

Trying again
Being 39 I'm optimistic, my amh has obviously fallen but they have said I'm still within range after my blood test but my husband's bits has declined since our last
icsi
cycle. Allot of vitamins and a new one for me.. melatonin... apparently this can help improve egg quality.

Natural IVF cycle (no stims)?
collect 1 egg naturally produced each month to
ICSI
. (I’m 43 and only produce 1 or 2 eggs on full stims anyway.)

Feeling low and disappointed - fresh transfer cancelled
So we finally started IVF
ICSI
treatment with NHS after almost a year and a half long wait. I was put on a long protocol last November and it got cancelled before stimulation phase because my husband tested covid positive. December to March our clinic was closed.

Feeling sad and disheartened
I just did my first ivf/
Icsi
cycle. 6 eggs where retrieved, 4 fertilised. 3 only had 2 cells by day 3 and arrested that day. 1 had 6 cells by day 3. I was booked in for my transfer this morning day 5. But got a call saying the embryo was still in cell stage and hasn’t gotten to blastocyst.

2 very different protocols from 2 different london clinics - pls help
Also said
icsi
not required because we had 2 natural miscarriages before and good feetilisation rates on 2 ivf cycles. This clinic would do daily blood tests during monitoring and seems very intense.

Nervous
Bluntly it was likely they were all dead and using his sperm not an option which was just horrific news, anyway more tests (HOS test) and unbelievably the clinic have said they aren’t moving but they aren’t all dead which means we can do
ICSI
with his sperm.

Success after 4 failed rounds of ICSI?
I'm 34, high AMH, some MFI, have done four rounds of
ICSI
in the past 16 months, transferred 10 embryos and no success. I'm feeling like it's never going to happen for us. Has anyone had a similar experience and gone on to have success in round 5?

what are the chances?! nhs ivf
Hi lovely people 👋 we just did our first stims injection for a private
icsi
cycle this morning and this afternoon I got my outpatient appointment in June for the NHS round 🤯 I'll be 40 in October so we didn't want to wait for possibly another 6 months to get to the top of the list hence we went private

AOA - has anyone had success with this?
I have had very little fertilisation.. out of 10 mature eggs only 1 has ever fertilised in my last 2
ICSI
cycles. My clinic recommended AOA but I appears very new - has anyone had this?

Can anyone please give me some advice on improving success for 6th transfer
And it has been 18 months since I had my first round of
icsi
. I had 7 blastocysts after my first cycle. I have had 4 failed transfers (one fresh 3 frozen) my last frozen transfer I had a double transfer and I did actually get pregnant but it was short lived and ended in an early miscarriage.

Positive thinking only 2 eggs
Started first cycle recently for
ICSI
. Responded to meds but only got 4 eggs (had to have collection without sedation but that’s another story) and could be my age as I am 43☹️! Clinic called yesterday and only 2 made it so far. Waiting to hear today if the 2 have developed further.

Sensitive Post - New Arrival
During our journey we struggled with poor fertilization (despite using
ICSI
), failed implantation, 3 cancelled cycles due to thin lining & my husband being diagnosed with cancer and going through surgery & chemo.

To test early or not to test early?
We’re 11 days post 3 day fresh transfer with
ICSI
. It’s our first cycle and after the longest week of my life I just want to test!

Probably selfish post
3rd failed
icsi
cycle - wanting to jump back on my next cycle end of April but all i can think of right now is having a drink (maybe stress) , i haven't had a drink since NYE and hasn't changed the outcome of my cycle - would you have a drink this weekend or stay strong and do probably the right thing

Varicocele and dna fragmentation & dr ramsey
Were you advised IVF or
icsi
for fragmentation? Also I know doctor Ramsey is considered one of the best urologists for this in London and it's about £300 for consultation but I just wondered if he did say that my partner needed his varicocele treated does Ramsay do that himself in london?
